Swindlers! I will never ever deal with Grossinger Honda again! They are using a fraudulent scheme to trap a human being and try to sell a car. So, I have my Honda Accord 2014 and I do regular service for my car at Grossinger. Few day ago I received an email from them with the following content: “I need to take in 3 2014 Honda Accords to expand my inventory and would like to buy yours. As the General Manager, I can offer you more than book value! Please call me A.S.A.P. Thanks. --Brian Weinberg grossingerhonda.com 773-938-9022 “ I made an appointment to show my car and on the next day I came to the dealership. I didn’t meet Brian, but they assigned to me a sales person. He took a look on my car and asked “On how much you can go up with a new Honda?”. I was thinking that they are going to buy my car and I didn’t plan to switch to another Honda. So, I said that I can consider another Honda ONLY if my monthly payment will be lower and if they will pay off my car 100%, which is almost 16k (it’s financed through the bank). I said, that if they can not offer me a lower price - they can just buy my Accord if they are truly interested. He got my SSN to see what I owe to the bank for this car. It took almost an hour. The sales person came back to me and impertinently kept trying to sell a car to me. All this time I was extremely patient and nice to him. Then I got tired and asked to stop wasting my time if their email was a scam. Than the manager came and went by the same scenario. I feel deceived and offended. They stole 1,5 hour of my time. I can’t believe that big company like this using such ugly swindling tricks. PS: A month ago we bought a Mercedes for my husband and their service is just excellent. We didn’t experienced any dirty sales tactics. More
