Lack of professionalism/horrible customer service We had a terrible experience with the service department of this dealership. They blamed us and accused us of lying after the airbags deployed because We had a terrible experience with the service department of this dealership. They blamed us and accused us of lying after the airbags deployed because we hit a pothole. There was little to no sympathy for this incident, which injured a family member. We were subject to demands for money to be paid, although the check was coming from our insurance. The service department made us feel that all they cared about was money. We are outraged with how we are treated after purchasing our vehicle from these individuals. I highly recommend that no one buy or service their vehicle at this location. Customers should not be mocked and made to feel like they are means to an end in service of as much money as soon as this money can be extracted. More

SCAM. Changed listing price of vehicle as I test drove it I called to confirm availability and price, then immediately went over to check out a vehicle. The salesperson pulled up the car info online and the price matched what I saw at home. I briefly inspected the car and test drove it around the block. We quickly returned and I pulled up the website info to think things over, only to find the price had jumped over $600. The salesperson made an effort to act surprised "hmmm, are you sure? let me check on that", then retreated to some other employee/ manager, and returned to say they'd sell it for the price I saw - without acknowledging the unethical scam maneuver of raising the price while I was literally driving the car. I tried to leave, at which point the salesperson implored me to wait a moment, then some manager then came over to assure me prices fluctuated daily - considering I had been there for about 20 minutes, I couldn't help but laugh... and gtfo of there. Such a joke. Don't get scammed by this place! More

NO Ethics / total lack of professionalism - Sold a car right Located a vehicle at North City Honda, I was interested in purchasing from out of state. Contacted a salesperson and made arrangements for a third pa Located a vehicle at North City Honda, I was interested in purchasing from out of state. Contacted a salesperson and made arrangements for a third party inspect the vehicle. Upon receiving the report, I said I wanted to purchase car and asked dealership for a purchase order to provide to my Credit union as I was pre-approved for a loan. Took them almost 2 days to get PO emailed to me. During this time, I made numerous contacts explaining I didn’t want to be pushy, and was happy to work at their pace based on the Corvid situation, but I didn’t want to lose out to another buyer; all concerned assured me the car was taken upstairs with my name on it and it was mine. I offered to put down money to hold, but they said it was unnecessary. When I received the PO I immediately sent to my credit union to get check overnight. Confirmed with my Credit union the check was being overnighted and started trying to reach dealership to share Fed Ex tracking number and copy of the check that was sent. Spent the next three days trying to reach anyone in the dealership including the GM, finance manager and salesperson by phone, voice mail, email and text leaving numerous messages with no response. I also called LeaderAuto Group the parent company and left numerous messages with three people from the management team with no success. Finally, at the end of the third day I reached a member of the management team at LeaderAuto and explain my situation. He promised to look into the situation and would call me right back. Received a call from a person who identified himself as Customer service at the dealership and proceeded to tell me the car had been sold to someone who offered more than asking price and he would do all he could to fix situation and proceeded to tell me about a car that I might be interested in as a replacement. I told him I wanted to know how this happened, but would look at his alternative, and he promised call back the next day to make sure to make this right. The next day I received no call and spent the next 2 days try to reach anyone to help me find out where my check was. Finally, after 5 days, I reached the President of LeaderAuto Group who helped me get my money returned and re-reimburse me for my inspection fee. She did apologize and was nice enough, but offer no explanation and I really felt no real remorse, but only that she wanted to sweep this under the rug and get past this ugly situation. 5 days of xxxx and nothing to show for all my effort. More

No nonsense like after-market add-ons. 3. Amazing deal Everybody knows you can’t throw a snowball in the Chicago area without hitting a Honda dealer. They are everywhere. I’ve been to many of them. Not bad people but I have something better: North City Honda and its sales, service, finance, and management team. Absolutely the best buying and service experience of my life as a Honda owner. More

Sales department is great, Service department sucks! I got a new car from North City Honda, sales department was great, but the service department is horrible. I took my new car to get an oil change and I got a new car from North City Honda, sales department was great, but the service department is horrible. I took my new car to get an oil change and a car wash and the scratch my interior screen and small damage on the passenger door and damaged the black plastic spoiler so they kept my car five days to fix the outside damage and did a terrible job, so they said they will send it out to get it fixed by a pro paint shop. When my car came back from the paint shop, their was more damage inside and outside my brand new car. Now one of the managers Kevin told he will not order the the rest of the damaged parts, even though one or more items was pointed out directly to him at the time we picked up the car and the other manager that’s no longer there. Kevin just told his not going to keep fixing damage I make.....besides the fact that u never talk that way to a customer, I never got the chance to break-in my new car....plus a month+ of my valuable time and trying to stay calm, numerous text, calls and time spend at the dealer. (Best best one I heard was...that my personal warranty policy (that we purchased) was going to be used to cover parts that they damaged doing the time they had my car. And when I asked about it, Kevin told me, “does is matter as long as it’s paid for”.....YES IT DOES! Very dissatisfied with Service department! upset beyond words More
