So i drove 3 hours each way to purchase a 2013 focus xx from north central ford on may 17th 2021 my salesmans name was rocky. From the time i stepped in there it was anything but an honest place. Wish i would have drove the extra 30ish miles and went to another dealer. First to start off salesman tells me that the focus just got traded in and that they were pushing it threw service quicker since i called them and said that i was coming from 3 hours away. The salesman rocky says that its part of there process to replace all the simple stuff like wiper blades,cabin air filter ,engine air filter ,oil change and that the tires just got replaced and they were supposed to have the hail damaged fixed.I also noticed when i was looking at the car that the front bumper had some damage and asked if the intercooler had been damaged and rocky said no that the tech looked over it and the intercooler was fthey were supposed to fix the hail damage and couldnt that day and said that they could get it the next day so i told them that i would stay the night in richardson and get a hotel if they could get the hail damaged fixed in the morning and i pick up the car no later than 12 pm tuesday may 18th 2021 salesman rocky gets with the sales manager brad and he says yes that he can get it fixed since there was probably 9 or 10 small ones so i we leave the focus at north central ford and go and spend almost 100 bucks on a hotel room for the night. Than evsrything gets worst show up at 1155am. My salesman rocky is off so rocky tells me to talk to another sales man when i got there so i did and than the car wasnt done. So at this point im sorta mad so i ask to talk to brad and his only response is well bring it out here at a later time and drive the 3 hours and we will fix it (i work about 65ish hours a week) so instead of being 100% pissed off and yelling i just tell brad that just give me my keys and write that he write me a we owe saying he has to get the hail damaged fixed when ever i bring it back so i start to head home about 1240pm tuesday may 18th 2021 and after about 10 mins it starts to rain really bad go to use the wipers and they are junk and smearing all over the place and are ripped and know for a fact that there is no way that the tech could have legally passed this focus for inspection having all the wiper blades smearing and not clearly wiping the window like it should . well the 3 hour drive was going good all the way up to i got about an hour from home.the check engine light comes on and i pull over get my code scanner that i carry when i go on trips. I hook up to it and it comes back with a vaccuum leak so i continued my drive home when i get home about 430 pm.i took it to another ford dealership in town and was able to get it up on the lift and had a couple techs look at it and seen the intercooler was smashed right behind where the front bumper was cracked and ghetto jb welded back together. So i take the car home and contact brian the general manager the following day (wensday may 18th 2021) and let him know what was going on so he decided that the 500 dollars that they added onto the top of the price of the vehicle to get the hail damage fixed and that he would pay for the intercooler and 50 dollars towards labor on a labor cost of about 225 dollars and brian said that thats the best he could do was 700 dollars so i say fine. Ill figure it out well while waiting for the check to come in to get the vehicle fixed i still had to drive it well car does fine for a few days than on sunday (may 23rd 2021 ) car starts running rough so i check the codes and comes up as multiple missfires so i get some oem spark plugs and install them sunday and it runs fine for about 20 miles than starts running rough again. So i check codes and same missfire codes for cylinder 2 and 3. So i decide to swap the coil packs around from 2 and 3 to cylinders 1 and 4 and so i clear the codes and drive it about 15 miles and check engine light comes back on guess what same 2 codes for cylinder 2 and 3 missfire ao i know its not coil packs or plugs so i decide ill take it and have a trained 25 year ford senior master tech look at it and make sure its not anything else that i missed and he has the car from monday (may 24th 2021 ) Tuesday (may 25th 2021 ) the ford senior master tech calls me and says that it seems like its probably gonna be bad injectors on cylinder 2 and 3 and i told him to hold off for right now and picked up the vehicle since its my only means of transportation. Well Wednesday (may 26th 2021 ) i come home and the check from north central ford for the intercooler and the hail damage comes in and in the reason for the check typed in is for bad injector and the hail damage to get fixed well i never even said anything to brian the general manager anything about injectors cause i literally just found out the day before while i waited almost a week on the check. So i contact brian and he basically says nothing he can do. And tries to re assure me that they didnt know about a bad injector yet i find out the day before i recieve the check for the other stuff that i had been waiting a week for just seems kinda strange More
Took car in Monday was to get back Tuesday called had to Pick up my car as they have to wait for the part to perform recall .
