Dan Dwyer was very helpful. We ran into a slight issue with taking delivery (no fault of Dan's....the other dealership sent a vehicle with dents). Dan did a wonderful job to make it remain a smooth purch with taking delivery (no fault of Dan's....the other dealership sent a vehicle with dents). Dan did a wonderful job to make it remain a smooth purchase and was so apologetic (even though it was not his errror or issue). We would recommend him to our friends and family and will defintely use him again in any future purchases. More
Doug North and Bryan O'Neil were extremely helpful in finding an Explorer that satisfied both our product needs and financial needs. It took no time at all and within a week I was driving a new car. finding an Explorer that satisfied both our product needs and financial needs. My check engine light illuminated, so I went to this dealership hoping that they could figure out the problem and fix it. When I arrived at the dealership, I was informed by the service manager that a d dealership hoping that they could figure out the problem and fix it. When I arrived at the dealership, I was informed by the service manager that a diagnostic check would be done on my car and the problem should be found out in around an hour. After 1.5 hours passed, they could not tell me what the problem was. An hour later, I was informed that there was an electrical short in my vehicle that had been fixed. As I was preparing to take my vehicle home, I was informed that the problem code re-appeared and that more diagnostic checks would have to be run. Another hour later, I was told that the electrical short had damaged my vent solenoid (a part that the dealer did not have in stock). I was informed by the sales manager that the part would be ordered and that I would be contacted as soon as the part came in (approximately 1-2 business days later). On day 3 of not having been contacted, I called the service department and asked if the part was in stock. I was informed that the part was in stock. I placed a call to the service manager to schedule my return to have the part installed. No one answered the phone. I left a voicemail message requesting a return call. After 3 hours and no return call, I went to the dealership. I was told by the service manager that he had received my voicemail (why had he not returned my call?). The part was installed in an hour and no apology was given for any of the hassle and poor customer service I experienced. I will never return to this dealership for service and will discourage everyone I know from patronizing this dealership's service department. More
I stopped by North Brothers in September to look at a Taurus. I was greeted by Mike Shebli within seconds I walked in the door. I must admit I'm not an easy customer, but Mr. Shebli was very polite and a Taurus. I was greeted by Mike Shebli within seconds I walked in the door. I must admit I'm not an easy customer, but Mr. Shebli was very polite and answered all the questions I had. I ended up driving off with a Taurus that day. I referred a few friends since & they all said the same, service is wonderful. I just bought my second car (explorer)yesterday, and Mike shebli helped me with my purchase, and it took only 5 hours from the time I test drove the car to the time I signed the contract and drove off. Thank you Mike for your profesionalism and a friendly service. I will recommend North Brothers to anyone's looking to buy a Ford.. More
On 11/29/2011 I took my 1998 Ford F-150 in for service. The headlights that burn when the ignition is on would not go off when the ignition was shut off. I mentioned to Mr. Wheeler that I thought it was a bad module. He told me there was a $100.00 diagnostic fee and that any repairs would be taken out of that. Several hours later I received a phone call from Mr. Wheeler stating it was taking longer to find the problem and now the Fee was up to $300.00. The next day Mr.Wheeler called me to tell me the module that controls the running lights was bad.( No Kidding). He told me that to replace it would cost another $195.00. I told him to just disconnect the module. I can do without the running lights. He told me he would call when the truck was ready to pick-up. When he called that the truck was ready, He informed me that the hood latch was broken. He would fix it for $60.00. The hood latch was not broken when I left the truck with him. Then when I went to the cashier to pay the $300.00 for disconecting the running light module, the had added $29.73 for shop supplies. What shop supplies? They just unpluged a module. I feel that I was taken unfair advantage of being a senior citizen. I have driven Ford products for over 60 years and love the vehicles, but I will never take any vehicle there for service again. I recently purchased my first NEW car. After looking at numerous other dealerships in the area I settled on North Brothers Ford. The real selling point to me was the relationship I was able to build with A numerous other dealerships in the area I settled on North Brothers Ford. The real selling point to me was the relationship I was able to build with Amy Patterson (my dealer) at North Brothers. She made the experience extremely personal and comfortable. She was genuinely interested in my life and my needs when discussing buying/leasing options. As a new buyer I was nervous about being taken advantage of due to some of the horror stories I had heard. However, with Amy I felt well taken care of. I felt like she was on my side and worked hard to get me the best deal possible. I bought my new car and love everything about it. Amy really took the time to make sure that everything I wanted I got. I never felt rushed into a decision and was able to ask as many questions as I could think of! I highly reccommend Amy Patterson and everyone at North Brothers Ford! I won't be going anywhere else for my next car! More
