I am hoping that the dealership will step in and help us out.I cant afford a CD player I am on social security and not working.due to health issues.I also want to thank him for the oil change which compensated the cost of the locks for the tires. Someone that represents the sales managers contacted me and let me to believe that they would help me out by trying to get out of the car that I’m in into a car that was smaller and less expensive. Last oil change, where they topped it off, it came on within a day. No leaks under my car. The manager told me it could be something I was doing, that it could be how I drove. I asked if others had the same problem. She said no. I can tell you - nothing I do would have it come on when I first start my car, or when I drive. After she told me the same thing (that if it was a part I was covered under warranty, if the mechanic didn't find anything, then it was my fault and I would have to pay $220!) I said I heard her the first time she told me, so she started telling me again! I left. I will not be going back. This is not the first time I had someone there tell me it was my fault, when it wasn't. I've gone to other car dealers and have never had that kind of treatment. So, Good Bye North Brothers! More
DANGER! !! DANGER!!! DANGER!!!! Lug nuts not tightened and tires not balanced. We have been going here for 20 years. Took our truck in to have the 1st oil cha !! DANGER!!! DANGER!!!! Lug nuts not tightened and tires not balanced. We have been going here for 20 years. Took our truck in to have the 1st oil change and tire rotation (brand new truck). When I got it back it shook and vibrated so bad we could not drive it on the freeway. My husband checked the lug nuts and they were NOT tightened all the way. I took it back and told the guy what was going on and the tires seemed like they were not balanced and the lug nuts were loose. He laughed and told me that is NOT what happened and I must have hit a pot hole and ruined my suspension. He told me it was going to be $145 to check my suspension and argued with me that I did not know what I was talking about...We took the truck to Belle Tire and they confirmed the tires were NOT balanced. Now the truck runs perfectly. More
When I purchased my 2022 Explorer Limited I had purchase Tire insurance along with Extended Warranties and even Maintenance Warranty. I called today (Wednesday) to inquire on getting my rear tire checked, Tire insurance along with Extended Warranties and even Maintenance Warranty. I called today (Wednesday) to inquire on getting my rear tire checked, it has a slow leak. I talked to Taylor and She informed me that they have NO walk in availabilty all this week. Hmm, why did I buy insurance when I can't even get Service done. The sign outside the building states Service Center that was determined to be a LIE. What a joke, not enough staffing to even look at a tire, that's sad. I will have to check and see if I can get a refund on my Tire Warranty. Over the years this is the third time they informed me they couldn't or wouldn't be able to repair a leaking tire and I only went there 3 times with a tire issue they have never been able to Service a tire for me. *** Update: I called Village Ford in Dearborn, MI. what a difference. They said they could absolutely take care of my tire. (No staffing issues there) They said let me transfer you to Quick Lane so we can let you know when would be the best time to bring it in. I talked to Joe from Quick Lane, he said he would do his best to take care of it, bring it in. Now that’s Customer Care! More
