Used car dealers that are nice ? YES! Imagine buying a used car without the usual sense of dread. These are nice, easy-going guys who work with you to find the right vehicle for you. Petar Imagine buying a used car without the usual sense of dread. These are nice, easy-going guys who work with you to find the right vehicle for you. Petar and Chris are a terrific team who make the buying experience as stress-free as possible. Stayed late, kept in touch, offered water (hot summer, cool AC) to thirsty customers. Other dealerships may treat used car buyers as unwelcome or easy prey. These guys were relaxed, courteous, even (dare I say) kind! Simply the best. More
Stress Free Buying Having bought from North Bay in the past, I recommended my parents to the dealership. I introduced them to Alphonso Carlino. they were very impressed with the manner that he treated them. He was patient, informative and did not pressure them to finalize the sale. They visited other dealerships and was completely turned off by the manner that they were treated. Alphonso listened to their needs and wants and sold them the exact car that they wanted. More

The My original review is posted below this. After the dealership read this review, Chris and Anthony reached out to me to verify what had happened. They apologized and asked if there was anything that they could do to make it right. The next morning they sent one of the sales guys to my home to show me the truck. AJ was amazing. He answered all of my questions, was knowledgeable on the product, and a genuinely good person. On our test drive, there was an older gentlemen that had a flat tire, and AJ suggested that we help him. It took a bit of work, but we got the tire changed, and AJ, dressed in his nice shirt and tie was dirt, and sweaty, but smiled and asked if he was ok. He declined money from the gentlemen and told him to have a great day. The most compelling part of this incident was the human side of people. AJ showed me that car salespeople are human too, and shouldn't be judged as a stereotype. As long as Northbay has AJ on their staff, I will always recommend them to anyone. After talking to his management staff, I truly believe that that is what they are striving for. ================================================================= Today completes my second visit to this dealership, with the same results. The first time I went there was last year, during a big remodel. I went specifically to look at a new truck. The sales person informed me that because of the remodel that he could move any autos, and that I would have to schedule an appointment to drive the truck. As a consequence, I drove 250 miles to Virginia to buy the same style truck that was 15 min from my house. I had called the dealership and left messages for the management team, but none of them felt my concerns warranted a return call. So today, Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 I attempted another trip into the dealership to look at another truck to replace my last truck (gave to my father in law) and today, my spouse and I wandered the floor the dealership without even the slightest approach of ANYONE. The staff didn't even say hi, smile, or acknowledge us at all. We approached the secretary on the Cadillac side, whom assured us she would find us a sales person, and after another another 20 min passed. Nothing. Sadly, I left again without ever having the opportunity to see the truck I wanted. It begs the question..... Once is shame on you, twice is shame on me? Hope I don't have to go all the way to Virginia to get my next truck again. Ugh... More
No Communication Drove from NC to pick up Cadillac VSport. Dealership called me numerous times to let me know car was still at the dealership. Arrived and guess what. Drove from NC to pick up Cadillac VSport. Dealership called me numerous times to let me know car was still at the dealership. Arrived and guess what. No car. My point is, that if you can continue to call me and say it's there, then you can call me and say it's no longer there. More
Bait and Switch tactics, refuse to give info on phone I had a bad experience with this dealership in 2012 and decided today to give them a second shot. I don't live nearby, but they have one vehicle in inventory that is difficult to find in my region. I called and spoke with a polite saleswoman, and specifically gave her a list of my criteria (vehicle, how much I was willing to put down, how many miles/year, information relevant for rebates and discounts, my sales tax rate, etc). She spoke with her manager and returned with a general price that was NOTHING CLOSE to what I had asked for. It was as if everything I told her went in one ear and out the other. She proceeded to insult me by letting me know that by policy, they don't give pricing over the phone, and suggested that I make the drive in because it's not too far. I suggested that she come up to my home instead to talk about the details. What kind of naïve, uninformed shopper would deal with Island traffic and come see you if you're not willing to be helpful over the phone? It's an archaic policy and you just lost my business, for the second time. This isn't 1960 anymore. People shop online and on the phone. And for the record - the last time this dealer pulled the same crap with me - I took the chance and drove in. It was Black Friday after Thanksgiving, 2012 - they were doing an incredible deal on a 2013 Cadillac SRX, and had only one in stock. I called early in the morning and asked them to hold the vehicle, they assured me the vehicle would be there. I drove all the way in. Sat with the salesperson, again stressed the fact that I wanted to leave a deposit before we even took a test drive so that the car would be there - she reassured me again that the car was mine. We went for a test drive, came back, and she went into the ever-so-secret manager's room. She came back out, and to my surprise, told me that she was wrong, and the vehicle was no longer available, but they had another one at a slightly higher price. I told her that she should be ashamed to drag a father of two out of his home on the day after Thanksgiving only to offer a sleazy sales tactic. The good ol' bait and switch. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. There are plenty of neighboring dealers that will treat you with dignity and respect. Long story short, after the Black Friday debacle, I stopped at a local Cadillac dealership closer to my home, and they matched the deal that was in North Bay's printed ad, no questions asked. They even served me coffee. I have since leased a Buick and also referred my father in law to the other dealership, so essentially, North Bay lost my business on 3 vehicles in 2012 ... and today marks 4. Maybe in a few years I'll try them again, though highly unlikely. More

It was John Campanelli that made it possible for us to return to an American automobile. John was easy to deal with and went above and beyond to get us into the SRX. Coming from Lexus', we were and still are pleasantly surprised about American quality, which we have come to believe is superior to their Japanese counterparts, as well as priced a lot better. Go, North Bay, go John, and go American. More

I would recommend North Bay Cadillac to my family and friends. More

Chris Made it Easy I saw a Ford Exp. on Cars.com and called North Bay for more info. I got paired with Chris over at the Pre-Owned department. Even thought it was rainin I saw a Ford Exp. on Cars.com and called North Bay for more info. I got paired with Chris over at the Pre-Owned department. Even thought it was raining and we both got wet, Chris was great! He was honest, professional and most importantly extremely pleasant to deal with. He explained things calmly and clearly and made me feel very comfortable during the entire purchasing process. This is my Third dealership purchase and it was by far the best car buying experience. I will definitely visit Chris and NorthBay FIRST for my next purchase. Thanks Chris, for making it pleasant. JD Mora More
