After settling on a Hyundai as our car of choice my wife and I visited quite a few dealerships in the L.A area. With few exceptions the employees with whom we dealt were all knowledgeable, courteous and c and I visited quite a few dealerships in the L.A area. With few exceptions the employees with whom we dealt were all knowledgeable, courteous and credits to the Hyundai brand. Our experience at Cerritos exceeded that. Following email exchanges, we made an appointment to meet Jon Haidar, Fleet & Internet Manager. What a guy! From the moment he greeted us until give or take 3 hours later (when we pulled away in our new Santa Fe) Jon was exceptional in every way. Unsure as between the Sonata and Santa Fe models, Jon fully described the features of each. Replying to our request for his recommendations Jon asked appropriate questions regarding our particular life style and driving needs. My wife Sheryl is a double leg amputee requiring hand controls to drive.Throughout the purchase process...typically an ordeal....Jon was at once professional and fun. He quickly acknowledged and immediately sought input from others on the few occasions he was uncertain or stumped by a question or inquiry. We liked that. He willingly introduced Javed Rasheed, the General Sales Manager (and deal-maker-of last-resort). Javed too was friendly, accessible and fair in his dealings with us. That goes for for the Finance Manager Kevin Lee as well. Before driving off Jon spent a lot of time briefing us on how to drive/input/load/use the vehicle and most all its bells and whistles. Having previously been with Infiniti, I was prepared to lower my expectations when it came to the level of customer service I should expect from Hyundai. Very friendly, respectful and believable when they tell you they appreciate my business. It's clear that Cerritos Hyundai is doing a great job in turning around the sub-par reputation that Hyundai once had. I'd happily recommend them to anyone in the market for a car. More

Most visits to car dealerships take about 3 hours, and sometimes even when you don't buy a car. Everything here was quick, fast, easy, and understandable. Javed Rasheed set up the deal quick, Jon Haidar was very thorough with the car run-through and explanations, and Kevin Lee was fast with the paperwork. All were very friendly and easygoing as well. Ive been to several different dealers and have been harrassed by all the sales people but Cerritos hyundai was different. I pulled in and was greeted by Jorge. I told him i didnt want to waste his time and that i wasnt buying that day and he said " it doesnt matter car buying is a big deal so i should take my time " i looked around and asked questions that he new all the asnwers too. Long story short there was no negotiation. The managers gave me an amazing deal on my sonata and the finance guy was the funniest guy ever. Being the first time buying a new car i felt that it was way too easy but they made me realize that is the way its supposed to be. From just leaving one message for Ricky Peters he got back to me very promptley. I had explained that I was going to buy a new 5.0 genisis from one of his competitors but before I did I hadn't seen an r back to me very promptley. I had explained that I was going to buy a new 5.0 genisis from one of his competitors but before I did I hadn't seen an r spec. He stated that he had one and then told me about the differences. After findig out that they did not come in white or a light color interior I stated that I think I will Just stay loyal to the original dealer. Their price was more than fair. I further explained that even if his price was a few dollars less per month on the 36 month lease Iprobably won't change my mind . He told me that he would at lease like a chance at my business and explained that he had some special CD' for a gift for me. When I reiterated I would probably still be going with my original dealer he texeted me back and said no matter who I buy from that he would still like to give me the gift. He got back to me shortly with a $792 savings. I'm loyal , but I do like money ! I called and spoke to the original sales person at Harbor and he stated that they probably didn't have the car instock and the price quoted was impossible. At 9:30 am on wednsday morning I was done within an hour, paperwork and all. Ricky then spent almost 2 hours with me to show me how to work all of the functions and the DVD AND CD gift were great. I've been in the auto industry 42 years and would give him an E rating for excellance and professionalism. also your finance director was great an showed great professional courtesy do to the fact that he knew that I had been and sill am in the business for many years. Thank you Ricky, your sales manager that I never had the pleasure of meeting and your finance director. An excellant experiance. Looking forward to see how your service department is. What a great experience buying my hard-to-find 2013 Genesis Coupe! I live in San Diego and wanted to purchase the 2.0T Premium in Circuit Silver. The problem? San Diego dealers have no inventory -- no cars and no timeline for getting this model. After searching the Internet, I found two silvers, one at WIN Hyundai in El Monte and one at Cerritos Hyundai, which is much closer. All it took was a single phone call to Cerritos answered by super salesperson Jon Haidar. We did the lease deal by phone the night before and the rest is history. The numbers were well below two deals I worked out with San Diego dealers (and they still had to find a car!). Naturally -- based on Yelp reviews -- I was skeptical that the deal was the real thing and worried that the numbers would change once I drove 100 mi. to Cerritos. But what a nice surprise. By the time I arrived, Jon already had prepped the car and pre-populated my lease application with information I gave him on the drive up. A quick signature to run my credit and out popped the paperwork for my signature. The deal was real and I was one happy car buyer. No BS. Just a good old-fashioned bargain that is easly one of the top two car buying experiences of my life (I'm 58). I knew what a great lease price was on this car and Cerritos Hyunadi delivered. Also thanks to sales manager David Rosas who didn't screw around with me once I arrived. The price I was quoted by phone was the price I paid! I think this dealership respects people who do their homework and know what they want. I got a great deal. No BS. Just the real deal. More
