The service is nice and quick. The rep was funny and helpful. The manager came out to welcome us, gave us water and chips. I got a great deal for the Sonata SE 2.0T 2014. You should ask for Vito. I would like to thank Manuel Vasquez for his excellent service. I recently purchased a new Hyundai Azera and absolutely love the car and enjoyed the car shopping experience. Alex Fuller, the salesman, did a great job. He was friendly, honest, and very knowledgeable abo love the car and enjoyed the car shopping experience. Alex Fuller, the salesman, did a great job. He was friendly, honest, and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the vehicle. David, the floor manager, was patient and NOT pushy when it came to talking numbers. He explained the pros and cons of buying vs. leasing. He slowly explained how leasing works and why it worked for me. After signing the paperwork, Alex helped me setup my technology features and went over nearly aspect of the car. This was a great experience and I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family. Unlike other locations, Cerritos Hyundai really did seem to "value the experience." More

Short version: Took the car to get the problem fixed that was not caused by me. in the end, nothing has fixed and probably will not get fixed by the dealer. Longer version:I purchase silver 2013 Genesis C was not caused by me. in the end, nothing has fixed and probably will not get fixed by the dealer. Longer version:I purchase silver 2013 Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track through Cerritos Dealer on 13 Oct 2013. Like any purchasing a vehicle experience, I was nervous yet excited about my car. I inspected the car the exterior of the car and i did not find any problem at first. I had to leave to vegas that evening so I did not have any time to inspect it even throughly of the car. Week after I purchase when Vegas was warm and sunny, I noticed couple things about my car being out of place. There was a window streak on my passenger side (problem solved), rear bumper (fender) had a gap, and the trunk was misaligned. Those things are hard to tell when you inspect the car and the car is being silver. So I went to investigate to see what has happened. I did not get hit nor got into accident causing the gap and the trunk to be misaligned. So i contacted Manny (Salesman) to see whats up and if he can help me out with it. He said bring it down to Cerritos Hyundai and everything will be taken care of. So I did. This past weekend (26-28 Oct 2013), I took the car for repair/inpsection of the car. Service department had my car for good 5 hours and I had to call about the status of my car before they close. Service department was managed to get the window streak problem solved, but not other two. They have somehow managed to find a scratch in the rear bumper which cause the rear bumper clip to be broken. This is causing the bumper to show gap whenever the outside gets warm. So service advisor told me to come in monday at 0700 to explain to me what has going on and the options to fix the problem. So on sunday, I went to dealer to see Manuel, and he was there and he promised to help me out with the problem and taken care of. He even told me that he will come in at 0700 to help with the problem I had and to discuss what were our options about it. So Monday 0700, I get there and Chris and Manuel is nowhere to be found as well. 10 minutes later, Chris comes to work, and he got my car. He discussed about there was a scratch and that has caused the clip to be broken off which causes the gap in the rear bumper. He explained to be that this is not cover by factory warranty so someone will have to pay out of my pocket to fix the problem regarding the bumper. He said, the rear bumper needs to be replaced in order for the trunk and the gap to be fixed. He said that he would need a "due bill?" from the sales department in order for me not to pay from my own pocket. So I contacted Manuel and whereabouts. He is still at home sounded like he just woke up from his bed. They told me that the store manager needs to approve the due bill in order to be effective. I had to leave Socal no later than 0800 to vegas, so I had to take the car with me. Chris took some pictures of the damages and explained to me that he will talk to Manuel regarding the option of "due bill" from the sales department. Around 10 o clock this morning, Manuel called me saying that he had just reported work and asking where I was at. Yep, left Socal 2 hours ago. I thought our meeting time was at 0700 front of service department? Then, he said that he will going to talk to Chris about the problem and what they could do for me. Around 12, Manuel called again saying that they (service department maybe?) had submitted a ticket to hyundai for investigation regarding if this problem can solved under warranty or not and gave me the number to David Rosas (Manager) and told me to call him to see what is going on with the ticket that was submitted to Hyundai. Around 1430, Called David Rosas regarding the problem and what was the status on it. Apparently, he didn't get the memo regarding the ticket, but did talk to Chris about the problem. He said, if it is clip that has broken off, we can do it for you for free, but if the bumper needs to be replaced, we will give you discount on it. So in the end I will need to pay out of my pocket to fix the problem regarding the rear bumper per service department. Thats not going to happen anytime soon. I did tell him that I can stop on Thanksgiving weekend to see what David can actually do for me. He said that he will need to see it in person to see what is going on. Most guarentee, the dealer will probably going to keep the car over the weekend again, and saying "oh you will need to pay for the rear bumper. Also, we can't align the trunk until the rear bumper has been solved." So what do I get from this? Still misaligned trunk (they said they need to fix the rear bumper to fix the alignment of the trunk), still gap in the rear bumper, wasted whole weekend, trust bond between the seller and the buyer bond has been destroyed, and probably will not recommend anyone who is looking to buy Hyundai to buy at Hyundai Cerritos. Oh let me also add this, salesman kept pushing me to do the survey and giving him or dealer a good rating since the day I bought the car. Here you go Manuel, this is my rating to you and the rater. I hope you enjoy reading this. More
As the lease for my current vehicle neared maturity, I decided to familiarize myself with current options offered on the market. I was interested in a sporty car but had imperfections on my driving record decided to familiarize myself with current options offered on the market. I was interested in a sporty car but had imperfections on my driving record and so my decision was not so clear-cut. I was also unsure of the options within the Hyundai lineup. Upon visiting the Hyundai lot in Cerritos (which is on the same lot as the Ford dealership) I was greeted by Vito who proceeded to familiarize himself with my circumstances. Typically at this juncture, I would expect the stereotypical, disingenuous car-salesman tactics to emerge as the salesperson would try to size-up my budget in order to fit me into some high-margin optioned-out car with features I would not even want. I was happily surprised, however when Vito took the time to listen to my needs and understand my situation (with my insurance problems) before showing me around the lot. Instantly I found that I could trust him - Not because he was able to "dupe" me into trusting him but because I sensed that he cared more than just the potential to make money off me; he actually wanted to get me into the right car. Nevertheless, he was very accommodating and patient (w/o pressure - direct or implied) in showing me the options and I test-drove the cars I felt would suit me best and he even called me back a few weeks later to try another model they didn't have on their lot during my last visit. While I have yet to find the Hyundai that suits my current needs, I would strongly recommend checking out their products and to make it a smooth experience with friendly staff and a huge selection, the Cerritos location is a great bet. Kudos to Vito, as well as Alex and Saeid with whom I met and found to be highly profession, trustworthy and friendly. Paul M. More
