I emailed Cerritos to get a quote before I drove all the way over there. The gentleman I talked to over the phone and by email was really nice he quoted me a price of $16482 after a $1000 rebate. I went on to their website to see if I qualified for any other rebates. On the website there was an interesting offer listed it said, “0% APR for 60 months plus no payments for 90 days”. On the bottom of that same advertisement it in fine print it said, “0% APR financing for 60 months plus tax on approved credit and requires $0 down payment on new 2013 Elantra is $13.89 per $1000 borrowed. Offer ends 01/05/13.” I told the gentleman assisting me but he did not know what I was talking about so I asked him to check their website and he found the same advertisement. He called a manager to assist me since he had an appointment waiting. The manager told me that was not something they offered even if it was on their website it was simply a mistake. He began to get angry because I was asking if there was anything else they could do for me since it was listed on there website. He said no! Since I felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere with this gentleman I asked to speak to someone else. About 5 min later the general sales manager, Javed, came out of his office to talk to me. As I was trying to explain showing him the website, he covered the computer with his hand and told me “don’t look at this look at what I am offering you because this is not right!” He said he was doing me a favor because the internet price was already $2000 off the sticker price. I asked him if there was anything aside from that that they could do since it was a significant price difference from the price on the advertisement. He didn’t tell me no he just stared at me and then he said that he could’ve just simply told me that he didn’t have the car. He closed his folder and started to get up, in other words, telling me to leave. He thanked me for coming and proceeded to walk away. Worst customer service I have ever recieved, especially from Javed who is someone that should be setting the example for the sales representatives. More

After doing a lot of research on new vehicles at home, we had the chance to stop into the Cerritos Hyundai dealership on our way into Long Beach to check out suv's. Only good things to say about Jose, an internet sales manager who helped me through the whole process.
