Everyone I interacted with, from Brandon, to Kyle in finance, to Javed the General Sales Manager was very professional, low pressure, and clearly interested in ensuring that I had a great experience. Finally, I have to say that IMO, this is a different kind of dealership. Everyone wears crisp white shirts and ties, and I sniffed out none of that smarmy car salesman vibe that you get at many other places. I'd recommend this dealership to anyone based on my experience. Second Bad Experience I should’ve learned my lesson after the first bad service department experience with Norm Reeves Hyundai (Cerritos). I took my car in yesterday for a I should’ve learned my lesson after the first bad service department experience with Norm Reeves Hyundai (Cerritos). I took my car in yesterday for a 90k service. Shortly after picking it up, I saw that my check engine light was on (which was not on before I took it in). I also saw that my brake lights are not working (I just replaced them a couple months ago with new bulbs, so they should be working fine). When I called (right when I got home), they recommended that I return. I told them this is the second bad experience I got from them and they transferred me to a manager, who had yet to return my call. I also called back the service representative who took care of me and have not received a call back. Do yourself a favor and don’t even bother coming in here. They are keen to provide 5 star customer service, but they lack the attention to detail and follow through to actually fix your car’s service needs. This was in no way the service rep’s fault - the mechanics screwed it up. The only thing I wish the service rep did was to return my call or have his manager call me. What a waste of time. Edit: Tim from Service called me back and asked me to come back in. The check engine light fixed itself by the time I came in, so that did not need to be addressed. I guess the short explanation is: performing maintenance on Hyundais can actually trigger the check engine light. They fixed my brake lights - the new lights I recently put in supposedly burned out. Not sure if I believe that reason but it’s at least fixed. I changed my review to five star on the sole basis that Tim at least tried to help me. It’s really not his fault that the overall operations of this dealership needs improvement. I would recommend going to see Tim there if you have to go to Norm Reeves Hyundai. I still stand by my initial assessment of not recommending Norm Reeves Hyundai service department to anyone. More

Deceptive sales practices Bait and switch I came in 2 days ago to look at a used 2016 Genesis stock . The price on the car and internet was $20,981. (I have photos and print outs) I have been working with Czar the salesman and all of a sudden 2 days later he said they priced the car wrong and it is $2,000 more. I am interested in getting the car and sorry someone made a mistake but this is a bait and switch and deceptive sales practices and advertising. I have never come to Norm Reeves and buy my cars in Orange County but this experience is rubbing me the wrong way. I left a message for Tony Gillian but have not heard back. I sure hope they make this right as I prefer to post positive ratings all over social media as opposed to negative ones. More
