I paid $1750 to fix the engine light but the light is still on. The technician kept guessing what the problem was. First, they replaced all four fuel injectors. I paid $1300, and the engine light is stil still on. The technician kept guessing what the problem was. First, they replaced all four fuel injectors. I paid $1300, and the engine light is still on. Then they asked me to do the additional repair for $1400 but I declined because there is no guarantee that the light will go away. I took my car to the dealership thinking that they had the expertise, tools, and equipment to diagnose the problem, but it turned out the dealer is no different than taking the car to any local gas station for repair. The dealer plays the same guessing game, and I would end up paying an unlimited amount of money for their guessing. I paid the dealer more than $1750 and my car is still in the same exact condition. Also, my car was kept at the dealership for more than 10 days and it turned out that they used my car for their own transportation during that time because there were about three hundred miles added to the odometer from the time I dropped off my car at the dealership. I honestly doubt that they did anything to repair my car. They just took advantage of me. I am very dissatisfied, and I really was discouraged from repairing my car or buying another car from the dealership because they are dishonest. Total waste of time and money to take the car to the dealership. More
My overall rating would have been a 5 star experience but the only thing that continues to be an ongoing problem is the transparency between Sales and Finance. I came in with a specific budget both monthly and down-payment and Sales was clear on that but unfortunately the lack of manufacturing warranty almost forces you to get the additional warranty since I'm personally doing a lease. Friendly service without a doubt but then again, they're in sales and they did their job, 2022 they sold me a car! Hyundai has definitely stepped up their game with the quality of the vehicles.
