Went to purchase a white Honda CRV EX-L. They didn't have the vehicle we wanted but told us we'd save thousands of dollars by having leather added to an EX and they were virtually the same car. When we ask for a brochure they claimed to be out of them but scribbled numbers on a paper, which seemed too good to be true, and said sign here so we can earn your business today. They drove the EX from the lot and pointed out all of the same features as the EX-L, conveniently not mentioning the features not included. again shoving scribbled numbers on a paper in front of us saying sign here to steal this deal. They showed us the leather we would be getting, we gave them a $1000 credit card hold, and they sent us home with the ownwers manual. After crunching the numbers, and discovering the car did not have certain features we wanted, we returned to the dealer, with the owners manual, and told them we wouldn't be buying the car and ask for a credit card refund. THEY REFUSED. We were told no accounting people worked on Sunday and we'd have to return on Monday. We told them NO, give us the credit now, and they REFUSED!! We have to call on Monday, speak to accounting, and supposedly our account will be credited. I don't trust them, so have written to Honda with a complaint, have contacted American Express to dispute the charge, and am writing a negative review on every site I can find. Bottom line, don't go to Port Charlotte Honda. More
i feel that i got ripped off by being charged 11.70 for recycling shop rags. the service that i had required changing the release button on my gear shift which does not require using grease but i was told recycling shop rags. the service that i had required changing the release button on my gear shift which does not require using grease but i was told that everyone pays this fee. it is pro rated amongst all the cars that are serviced for the day. since i came in at 8:30a.m. i guess they knew how many cars were going to come in that day. NEVER AGAIN!!! More
