The attitude of the sales person, John Sennett, was the main reason I felt comfortable doing business with Charlotte Honda. He was professional, patient and always had a smile. David is very knowable in navigating in car business, he listens to what YOU WANT in a car and then goes the extra mile to find it! I went to Port Charlotte VW to look at new cars. I called beforehand and spoke with Shay who was very prompt in answering my questions and set me up the same day with David Hillard. He already knew what I was looking for when I got there. The customer service at this dealership is what sets them apart from others in the area. They do not oversell themselves or harass you into buying a car as many others do. Josh Johnston was very flexible in working with me on the price of the car. Edwin was also very polite and knowledgeable with the financing. I am very pleased with everyone there and would absolutely do business with them again. More

Buyer Beware! Before you go and sign anything, Please visit Venice Nissan. I arrived at Port Charlotte Honda with a fico of 630, which in fact, is acceptable to purchase a car. They lied and told me my visit Venice Nissan. I arrived at Port Charlotte Honda with a fico of 630, which in fact, is acceptable to purchase a car. They lied and told me my credit was 496. I received letters from the 300 banks that they jammed my credit into, only to add enquiries which substantially damages your credit. When I received the letters from the finance companies, I knew something was wrong. My fico was considerably Higher than they have advised me. They were trying to tell me that the finance companies would not honor their dealer fee, which was 3000. I went to Venice Nissan, and low and behold, had a nice 2011 ford edge that I fell in love with. Not to mention , I have had the certified car now for 2 months. Moreover, was in and out of the dealership with no money down in a short 2 hours. The person to speak to if you are interested is Matt. The sales manager. My name is Michael Rose. My edge is like new, they were trying to put me into a jeep liberty with high mileage, and bumpers falling off. I truly believe that they make their money off of bad credit, and try to damage people. More
This dealer claimed to have a particular model of car I wanted and set up an appointment for me to come in and buy it. I let them know I was ready to purchase the vehicle and would be driving in from out wanted and set up an appointment for me to come in and buy it. I showed up later in the week as planned and the sales rep I was told to meet wasn't even available. There were many others available but none offered to help. When the sales guy did appear the first thing I asked was for him to show me the model of Accord requested. I had to wait another 20 minutes only to find that they didn't have what they had promised due to a 'miscommunication' but they would be happy to sell me another. I was not surprised to find an underhanded car dealer, however this one sank to a new low in my book by wasting my day. Avoid them if you can. More

However, I was at a fair in the mall, met a Honda rep, Matt I believe and he asked me to give them another try as I was in the market for a new Honda. Although I had already spoken with a rep in Ft Myers, I took Matt up on his offer, went that afternoon to meet with Zack Bolling, and had a great experience. Bought my Honda Fit Sport w/Nav that day and picked it up a few days later. He was personable, honest and made the purchase a very positive one for me. All the staff I encountered were friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Zack and the Pt Charlotte Dealership. Sheila F. More
