Norm Reeves Honda Irvine has no hassle pricing Last Thursday night I received an internet / fleet price quote thru my employer’s website. The quote was very low for a 2017 Civic EX-L Navi so I was leery that I could actually buy the car for that amount. The phone started ringing immediately with calls from six local Honda dealers. These dealers were sending me pictures of cars, VIN #s, setting up VIP appointments, and texting my phone with “guaranteed” savings certificates. About half of the dealers gave me the exact same price that was on the quote while others just said “c’mon down and we can talk”. So I made some appointments for Friday with the two dealers that guaranteed the internet price. In the meantime, I went to a few different Honda dealers near my work just to compare models (Hatchback, Coupe, Sedan, 2.0L, 1.5L, EX-L, Navi, Touring, etc.) just to educate myself so I knew what my options were. I did not really want or need the top Touring model because I would have to pay a premium (+8%) for basically a 480 Watt sound system, Honda Sensing, and some others cool stuff that I did not really need (rear seat warmers, etc). I obtained a second internet quote on a 2017 Civic Touring model and ran the numbers. I soon realized that I could get all of the Touring options for about 2-3% more than the EX-L Navi. Hmmm I said, and the wheels started turning in my head so I settled on a Touring model because that 480 Watt sound system with 10 speakers and a Sub-Woofer was calling my name. Soon I was in touch with Andrew Oliveros from Norm Reeves Honda Irvine and he did some quick research to confirm that they had my Red Touring Civic in stock. Shortly thereafter, Andrew texted me a picture of my car and confirmed it was available so we made an appointment for 5:30pm Thursday Night. When I arrived, I was greeted by Andrew and he introduced to me to Mo Malek, and a few others. We took the car for a test drive then shook hands and made a deal for the exact internet price that I had received. At that point I was glad that I chose Norm Reeves Honda Irvine because it was no hassle, easy to get to, friendly people, free soda, fast financing, and lots of cars to look at! We quickly started the paperwork but I let them know that I had presentation to give early the next day at work so I wanted to get out of there in about an hour. Andrew had a great idea to show me all the features on a similar Touring model to save time while my car was being prepped for delivery. That really saved time and everybody at Norm Reeves Honda Irvine worked to get me out of there quickly. The whole deal took about an hour after we shook hands on the price. One last thing that stuck in my head about Norm Reeves Honda Irvine was that there were no dealer add-ons like the Pro-Pack which is a Trunk Tray, Mud Guards, and Wheel Locks. Many Honda Dealers add these options and charge like $800 for them just to mark up the price to increase their profit margin . . . and they tell you they cannot be removed. I need another 2017 Honda Civic soon for my wife and she wants a White EX-L with Navi and the only place I will buy a car now is Norm Reeves Honda Irvine. I was originally planning on buying a Corolla, but just couldn't see myself in that car after leasing my Infiniti and owning a Lexus prior to that. For me it's a bit of an Aesthetic thing. He showed me the Civic and I fell in love with the look, fuel mileage, technology options in the vehicle. Trust me, I am a pretty hard sell in my older age and extremely strict about my budget and what I am willing to spend. Joe worked very hard to get me the price and monthly payment I was willing to pay. I had as good of an experience anyone can have when buying a car. I was not there terribly long either. Usually I have already worked out a car deal online and it's just a matter of picking the darn thing up. I am extremely satisfied with the deal Joe worked for me and love this car! Now it's a matter of how well the Service Department manages their end when I come in for service. I am really big on how well customers are treated after they have purchased a car. More

The staff there, especially Mr. Meysam Kaed, were so helpful. I experienced driving the new car around the Irvine Auto Center, discussing all the features of the new car (as opposed to our current 2011 Honda CR-V). There were many new features and I had to learn a lot about these which I had never had before. The staff was patient and I felt most trusting in dealing with a retired couple who had never had so many new features!
