So where do I start… First of all he was persistence but did not come off annoying, made me feel he wanted my business. Never felt pressured to buy the car. The price quoted via email was exactly that. There was no switch and bait going on, like past experiences. When I arrived to test drive the vehicle, he had the cars ready for test drive as well as the different models/trims available. It made the decision process much easier as myself and the wife could compare the differences. Furthermore, he provided the best prices up front, I know this because I was working with well over 10+ dealerships and his quote was the best. I mean much much less. But we were so frustrated with the bait and switch and pressure tactics that my daughter decided she was going to give up the search, Luckily, we had one more appointment with Ashley at Norm Reeves Irvine (NRI) who dealt with us with plain professionalism and tact. Darrell also called to help and so did Omar Lodin (new concept of teamwork) Despite not being able to agree on the final price solely because of our budget constraints, I am glad that there are still dealerships with such honest people that I would be comfortable to let my daughter do the deal on her own despite her inexperience. Thank you all and looking forward to your Thanksgiving Sale, We will need 2 more cars in the next 6 months and NRI will be our Dealership of choice! Update: We ended up buying the Civic. The paperwork was flawlessly done. Delivery was a little tense since there were scratches and scuffs but they promised to fix the issues next week. Omar, Ashley and Sam are an awesome team.
