This Guy is the Real Deal I absolutely dread walking on to any car lot to look at anything because my experience over the years with “car” salesmen has always been stressful. Y I absolutely dread walking on to any car lot to look at anything because my experience over the years with “car” salesmen has always been stressful. You have to wade through all the fake xx you get from them and hope you can get the best deal possible. Granted, salespeople need to make a living too, but you don’t want to feel robbed after you’ve driven off the lot. It’s rare to come across a salesman who ISN’T there to rip off the customer and who goes all-out to make sure the customer is truly happy with their car purchase. Enter Kasem Al Salah at Norm Reeves Honda (Irvine). When I showed up on the lot to look at cars, Kasem cautiously approached me and made sure he wasn’t stepping on the toes of any other salesman who might have already had an appointment with me. Once he verified that, he enthusiastically took me out on a test drive. Afterward, he sat down with me to answer my questions and find out what I was looking for. We sat there for quite a while discussing a car and life in general. He shared some of his own life with me, which was fascinating – he’s been all over the world and is very multi-cultural. He wasn’t pushy about any sale when I told him I would have to come back later. He told me his schedule and said he wasn’t there to pressure me. I walked away that day knowing that he is one of those rare salesmen who truly wants to make the customer happy. When I returned a couple days later to put an offer on a car, he was there to make everything as smooth as possible for me. When sales management said they couldn’t make the deal I was looking for, he quickly stepped in to bridge the gap and find a way to get me what I wanted. I was very happy with the deal I got and the experience I had going through the process with Kasem at my side.
