My daughter's Fit was in for some safety recall work, and an oil change, which went smoothly enough, though after she got the car home she noticed a long crack on the passenger side of the windshield. Appeared to be a stress fracture, and after researching online found that apparently this is a common problem with Fits (not good for Honda). Really not clear whether anything the service guys at the dealer did that might have increased the chances of this happening. Took the car back the next day, no arguments, they took pictures of the crack to send to Honda, ordered the new windshield, called me after a few days once the windshield was in, scheduled the appointment with the glass guy that does the replacement, then we took the car back for the work, and everything covered under warranty. More

I made an online appointment for a routine oil change on June 10, 2011 thinking I would be in and out in a hour. I was wrong. I arrived on time (8am) and I advised the service advisor, Oscar, that I was g June 10, 2011 thinking I would be in and out in a hour. I was wrong. I arrived on time (8am) and I advised the service advisor, Oscar, that I was going to wait until the service was completed. At around 9:15am, I went check to see if my car was done and to my surprise, found out that my car was sitting in the lot and had not even been taken to a service bay to be worked on. Needless to say, I was disappointed and I was told that my car would be serviced next. Twenty minutes later, my vehicle was taken to a service bay. Another service advisor, Sam, realized that I had been waiting far too long for a simple oil change and said that I would be comped for the service (for which I was grateful). The assistant service manager, Sylvia, saw that I was upset and came over to speak to me. After the oil change was completed, the technician said that the battery was low and should be replaced. I was not happy to find out that I'd have to spend more time waiting for a battery replacement. The old battery was under warranty, so there was no charge for the replacement. A routine service that should have taken no more than one hour, took three hours!!! I event skipped the car wash because I didn't want to wait any longer. Even though, I was not charged for the services, I should not have been made to wait such a long time and told Sylvia that I seriously considered not returning to Fladeboe in the future. More

He kept me informed about the progress of the repair and was so kind. I picked "her" up on Thursday 6/16 and "she" , as promised, looked like new! I am grateful for the excellent service of all those who repaired my car,(although I do not know their names) and the kind treatment from your Body Shop Manager,Jim. Sam took great care of me! I came with my 2 children, ages 2 and 8 weeks, which was intimidating. Everyone was so accomodating with me and managing my children. I purchased brackets for a missing front license plate, and they put it on at no charge. I was very pleased with my experience. Fladeboe Honda in Irvine has given me great service over the years. With 82,000 miles on my 2003 Honda Accord, it has now become necessary to perform required maintenance associated with the increased milea the years. The Fladeboe service center has worked closely with me to perform these tasks with the minimum of cost outlay over the past months. I would like to give special thanks to my service advisor who went out of his way to explain what and why the maintenance needed to be done, and how we could accomplish the service within my budget. Also I would like to give thanks to Assistant Service Manager, who handles questions and problems in a professional and personable manner. The staff at Fladeboe are always courteous, friendly, and have made my experience a very positive one. I bought my car from this dealer last year and have brought it in for maintenance every time. This last time, I brought it in for an oil change. I was told that my tires would be rotated as well. I brought it in for maintenance every time. This last time, I brought it in for an oil change. I was told that my tires would be rotated as well. I dropped my car off at around 8:30 am and was estimated that it would be ready at 10 am. I told the guy helping me that I was going to go wait at a nearby eatery and made sure he had my cell phone. At around 1:30 pm, I had not received a phone call. I returned to the service department and spoke with a woman at the cashier desk. She was doing something on her cell phone when I approached. I asked for the status of my vehicle and handed her my documentation. She looked around a minute and then pulled my paperwork out of a drawer and rang me up. After I paid, I looked over the paperwork for a indication of when my car was ready. I could not find one. The woman noticed me looking over the paperwork and asked to help me. I asked her if she could tell me when my car was ready, because I had not been contacted to pick it up. She told me that she was unable to tell me that information, but added that she had just received the paperwork 10 minutes ago. Whether or not she was telling me the truth, I was still not contacted. She could have contacted me immediately, but instead was on her cell phone and my paperwork was placed into a drawer. I believe that she was being deceptive and either she or another employee was negligent. When I left the dealer, I went home (approx. 8 minute drive) and did not drive my car the rest of the day. Two days prior to bringing my car in, the low tire pressure signal came on. I knew that I would be bringing it in and decided to let the service guys take care of it. One day after bring in my car, the low tire pressure signal came back on. I waited a few days, just to make sure it was not a flat tire, but all tires were holding up. I have fixed this problem in the past by filling and checking all tires to the recommended PSI. The signal never came back on after I did this. I filled/checked all tires and the warning has not come back on. This leads me to believe that my tires were either not correctly filled/checked or that the work was never performed. In the latter case, this would lead me to doubt that my tires were rotated, or even that other work was not performed. My paperwork gives me the impression that the tires were rotated and the PSI filled/checked. If I wanted to have my oil changed and receive service such as this, I would just take it to a oil change chain store. Why would I pay three times as much for this lack of quality? More
