The visit started off alright. I was able to test drive an 08 Civic and the car was good. Cosmetically, the vehicle had some issues. Scratches everywhere and a poor touch up was obvious. I checked kelley an 08 Civic and the car was good. Cosmetically, the vehicle had some issues. Scratches everywhere and a poor touch up was obvious. I checked kelley blue book and the car was about $1500 overpriced. We went into the managers office and without even throwing out a number he said he could go down $200 because he was already selling it "under KBB". I informed him that I know the KBB price and that he would have to come down a little more than $200. He stood up and shook my hand and said he was unable to do it. Fast forward six hours, I get a phone call and now they are "willing to deal". They play too many games and waste too much time. Don't bother even going in to see them. Their used cars are not that clean, the worst ones I saw the entire month of searching for used Civics. More
Aileen was the first person I spoke with regarding an appointment with the service dept. Friendly and helpful. Oscar met me the next morning for my drop off and he was my service rep. for the work d appointment with the service dept. Friendly and helpful. Oscar met me the next morning for my drop off and he was my service rep. for the work done. I had to pass a smog check, misfiring and emission light were listed as "problems". Firings were resolved, but emission light came back after 24 hours. Returned on Monday. Later that morning Oscar called to let me know it was the Catalytic Converter and it was going to cost appx. $1800. After I picked myself up off the floor, I gave permission to "do what it takes" to fix it so I could pass my smog check. I drive alot. 2003 with 241,500 + miles. This was the first "major" thing that had to be fixed. I LOVE MY HONDA. Don't you offer "rebuilt" parts for the older cars? Other things will gradually start to break down and the car will be replaced in the next year or so anyway. Putting your profit margin aside in regards to the service department would give customers a much better sense of TRUST in taking their automobile in. Fix it like it's your car. thank you for asking, cp More
I want to write about my service experience. I had my Odyssey in for service. I noticed my van was steering toward right and that the steering wheel was shaking when the speed was about 70 mph. I broug Odyssey in for service. I noticed my van was steering toward right and that the steering wheel was shaking when the speed was about 70 mph. I brough the van in and talked to one of service advisor. I told him to check it first before fixing because I was not sure if it needs it. He sent me to John Rathman, after test drove the van, he confirmed what I noticed. John went back to the service advisor and told him what needed fixing. I was so appreciative of John for his time by test drove the van first to confirm. But what came next was a total surprised! John told the service advisor to not charge me for the job even my van had already exceeded the dealer warranty. He help me to fix my van for free. Wow. I was more than happy to pay for it, just so that the van is running smoothly without problems. Not that he took his time to help but he kindly extended his welcome by making kind gesture. Thank you so much Fladeboe/John Rathman. More

Had to replace 3 motor mounts for $1700. That price is ridiculous. I didn't price this at an independent auto repair shop, but I had a previous experience at Fladeboe where I needed a catalytic converter ridiculous. I didn't price this at an independent auto repair shop, but I had a previous experience at Fladeboe where I needed a catalytic converter for my 2003 S2000 and the dealer cost was something like $1300 but I got it done at a muffler place for $500. I know it isn't an OEM part but $800 for an OEM part seems ridiculous to me. I'm sure the motor mount cost would have been similar. In my opinion, Honda needs to be more competitive with their service prices for major items if you want to continue to perform services other than oil changes. More
I went to Fladeboe Honda to have my regular 5,000 mile service done, the service was quick, friendly and the price that was quoted, unfortunately there was other problems found the service person called m service done, the service was quick, friendly and the price that was quoted, unfortunately there was other problems found the service person called me and explained the problem and again service was done quick, I wasn't waiting all day for a pone call, the staff that I dealt with was friendly and my car drives so much better. I purchased my Honda Odyssey at Fladeboe in 2005 because it was the local dealer and I had heard nothing bad concerning customer relations or service. I have continued to have my car serviced at this same l it was the local dealer and I had heard nothing bad concerning customer relations or service. I have continued to have my car serviced at this same location, because the commitment to car care and customer service matches my feelings about how it should be done. I pride myself in having a vehicle that remains virtually "show-room" clean after 6 years, and it seems that the people at the Fladeboe Honda dealership want to help me keep it that way, with a minimum of fuss and bother. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Fladeboe, awhile back in a doctor's office, and took the opportunity of letting him know how pleased I was at the treatment I was receiving from all of the people in his organization. His humble response was a thank you, and that he felt it was the only way to run a successful business. The only thing to point out is that, because this is a dealership, it may cost a bit more for parts and service, but that is balanced out with the fact that you can expect that things will be done right the first time. Took our 2007 Civic in for a minor warranty fix -- the service manager was extremely accommodating and due to the simplicity of the fix, prioritized the repair. I was done and on my way within 30 minutes service manager was extremely accommodating and due to the simplicity of the fix, prioritized the repair. I was done and on my way within 30 minutes. Previous visits to Fladeboe Honda Service for regular maintenance have always been hassle free and relatively quick. The car wash at the end of the service is also a nice touch. We bought our Honda at Fladeboe and highly recommend them as well as their service department. More
I drive 25 minutes to this dealership even though there is a Honda dealership less than 5 minutes from my home. The folks at Fladeboe treat me with respect, helpfulness and with customer service of a qual is a Honda dealership less than 5 minutes from my home. The folks at Fladeboe treat me with respect, helpfulness and with customer service of a quality that is absolutely wonderful -- especially during these economic times. I gave just an "OK" rating for the price because I bought 4 tires at the dealership instead of taking the time to shop around (and I did check later, so I know paid more than I would have had I bought the tires elsewhere). I had taken my Ridgeline in for the regular 5000 mile maintenance, but when I picked it up, it made a horrible noise when I turned the wheels. I was told it was just the tires on the concrete, but it hadn't made that noise when I brought it in. I knew it was ready for new tires, but I had planned on purchasing them elsewhere (and for less.) However, the truck was already there and Sylvia Illman, the Assistant Service Manager, worked on getting another part for me for less (actually, she got Honda to comp me what would have been a $225 repair on the passenger door lock) so I agreed to the 4-tire replacement. (She also offered to comp me a rental, but I was content to have their guy drive me home and pick me up when it was ready.) People think I'm crazy for going to the dealership for service, but I have always been treated well there. Also, this is my first Honda (my 4 previous vehicles had been Toyotas) and it won't be my last. When I'm ready for a new vehicle, it will definitely be another Honda. Again, the customer service at Fladeboe is first-rate! Thank you~ Robin Berman More
