It is unfortunate because the dealership seems to be reputable but one bad apple can ruin it for everyone. Joe is unprofessional and is stereotypical about being a salesman who plays games and is dishonest. My recommendation is to never work with him and request another salesman if you get stuck with him. Some reputable ones it seems are listed in other reviews. I was simply looking for a specific Accord model and working with Joe has ruined my desire to deal with dealerships. It is unfortunate since I live in Orange County and strongly preferred to deal with Norm Reeves. I still think the dealership may be workable just avoid Joe at all costs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was contacted by Richard and Stephanie after posting about my experience with Joe. Though Richard and Stephanie were nice and professional - they did not really help with the issue. I even provided copies of my communications with Joe that clearly illustrated his unprofessional-ism and the games he played. Even though not much that can done at this point - one would hope that the dealership at a minimum would acknowledge unprofessional behavior. A customer lost a potential vehicle due to various games and on would hope a dealership would understand the significance of it. Once again I think Norm Reeves can be workable but one person can ruin it all and Stephanie and Richard were called to address a situation that should never have occurred in the first place. More

Upon confirmation that the exact vehicle that we were looking for was available on their lot, we made our way to the dealership. We were greeted by Ahmed and immediately felt welcomed, in good hands, and respected. Ahmed took his time explaining the vehicle features, providing responses to our questions, and a test drive. Overall, the atmosphere at Norma Reeves Honda in Irvine was pleasant and purposeful. Our mission was accomplished and we left feeling well taken care of. Never even got to the service department I scheduled an appointment for a Friday night 5:30, my car had an issue with a hard start so I figured they could keep it overnight and would save me I scheduled an appointment for a Friday night 5:30, my car had an issue with a hard start so I figured they could keep it overnight and would save me getting up early Saturday morning. I showed up around 5:20 to drop off the car, the guy looked like one of the employees who gets your car when you pick it up informed me that the service advisor was busy and asked me if I wanted to come back later since he was going to be a while. I said I could wait so he said I could do a night drop off if I wanted to but probably better to just come back. I had scheduled my appointment online and needed a shuttle which said it ran until 6:00pm, he said there is no shuttle it only runs until 4. So I left, I was going to bring it back the next day, I did schedule an appointment just to see the shuttle hours and it did say 8am to 6pm, I decided to just find another dealership. I did email them on their website form to ask why my appointment seemed to be an anomaly to them and the only person who called me was from their internet department to see what kind of car I was looking to buy. I did buy parts here a few months before when it was still Fladeboe and that was a good experience, so I found another Honda dealer Ocean Honda in San Juan where they seem to know what an appointment and shuttle bus means. I did almost buy my car at Norm Reeves Cerritos, that was a good experience but I won't be returning to any Norm Reeves dealer after this experience. When will dealers realize that a bad service experience means a future opportunity is lost to sell a car. I'm giving the customer service review a fair, the poor attitude of the guy at drop off cancels out the excellent I received in the parts department earlier. Also no response by email to my concerns also tells me they have enough customers to not warrant a call back, and I know they received my email it how else would they have called me to ask me about a new car. More
