The dealership is located in the Bronx of NYC. The surrounding area is not pleasing to the eye when considering buying a vehicle. The scene outside fades away as you are approached by professional staff, willing to assist you, provide information, allow test drives and more. At the dealership, I had the pleasure of working with Peter Corcino. Mr. Corcino was a very helpful, knowledgeable, hardworking individual (he literally ran around everywhere to find me a car and any information I asked for). Mr. Corcino made the process of purchasing my very first brand new car a great learning experience as well as a very rewarding one. He did not press hard to sell unnecessary items/options nor play games as most dealers I've dealt with have done. He was honest and disclosed anything you asked for and or whatever he felt was needed to be known. If you have the opportunity to go to Teddy Nissan, go to Peter Corcino. He is one of the best sales associates that I've worked with after buying 3 vehicles at other less professional car dealerships. On a side note, Teddy came to introduce himself while I was present at the dealership. This kind man was a pleasure to meet as well, I hope other buyers may meet him too. Mr. Teddy, if you get to read this, Mr. Corcino needs a huge raise or boast up the corporate ladder. Only one thing that forced me to place the friendliness and overall experience at 4/5 stars was the behavior of the financial manager (individual who processed the payments for the vehicle and warranty). He was knowledgeable, however, he was not friendly and approachable as all the other staff. He was somewhat annoying in my opinion. He was rushing information to me and yelling at other staff. Overall, Peter Corcino was excellent and my experience with Teddy Nissan was the best I've ever had at any dealership. when I walked into Teddy Nissan on boston road in the Bronx, NY the atmosphere was great. Good musci friendly sales people and a sales team taht works hard to get you what you want. Not even having the car a month i started having problems with my vehicle (bushings needed to be replaced, radio had a short, passenger side mirror light didnt work). I tookt he car to the service center where they "told me my problem was fixed". when i got my vehicle returned the bushing were fixed but the radio still had a short and the mirror light still was non working. Then one rainy day the motor for the windshiedl wipers stopped working. I then again took my car to the service center where the at first told me that they would fix the problem but whne i went to pick up the vehicle i still had no wipers in a rain storm. so once again i tookt he vehicle back to the service center where they fixed the wipers (finally). Upone getting the return on my vehicle the check engine light would not go off and the cruise control malfunction button kept coming on, they told us to bring it to the service center once again. before we could make the time to bring the car back for the now 4th time, the car stalled on me on the highway. I mean cut completely off. i got the car to start agin and took it home, when I tried the next day to bring it to the service ceneter, it would not start at all. when I finally got it started when shifting from N to D the car cut off. I had the car towed to the service center once again, where they took it and told me to call on monday (this was a saturday to see about the car) mondays comes and I call, they tell me by wed, wed comes and i call they then tell me thursday early afternoon, thursday comes and now they are telling me friday afternoon. I havent even made my first car payment on the vehicle yet and i'm having major problems. the sales dept where I purchased the vehicle was GREAT, the service center where my vehicle is being "fixed" is HORRIBLE. with this kind of service I would NEVER refer anyone to this dealer all because of the horrible service center service. First most, I would like to thank Rajon Lewis for his patient. My 6 year old son and I stayed several hours at Teddy Nissan and felt at home with everyone's kindness. Finally, I decided on an Xterra which Rajon then presented to me and went for a test drive. Came back feeling great to the point wanting the car even more and had to let Rajon know to work out the best deal for me. He assured me I would received the best deal and it was true.
