After months of searching and having a deposit on a car and not having an ETA somewhere else, I drove the 40 mins to Yorktown Heights Nissan and walked away with my dream car same day. When you walk through the door you are greeted so nicely, would you like coffee, hot coco, have a seat in the cubical office. We wanted to buy the 2017 White Dodge Caravan on the lot. Our salesman was adorable Joe T, he was a nice Italian boy, a sweet young man. The dealership had the van listed for over $20,000. The new manager Mike came into the cubical office, and he asked me what do you want to pay for the van, we said, not $20,000, maybe $18,000, he said he could do $19,000, 3-year bumper to bumper, and $15,00 for our trade in. He ran my credit, and we made an arrangement to pick up the van on Tuesday Night! Ok, we leave and on Tuesday we get a call from Joe, we can't sell the van yet, we have to get the bank release we sent the payoff check to the wrong bank address. WHAT? They already got my insurance card sent to the dealership. Maybe a little aggressive with the insurance push, I think you are suppose to sell the car to the new owners before you change their insurance information. I had to call my insurance and had everything switched back to normal. What a mess. A couple of days turned into weeks, The salesman Joe, kept saying that the last owner of the car went to the beach everyday with his metal detector that's why the van only has 24,000 miles. In the meantime I started doing research on the 2017 Dodge Caravan, I put the VIN number into Edmunds.com and it came back the 2017 Dodge Caravan was only worth $16,600, I was taken back by the number difference. Then, I did comparisons, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and it blew my mind how much cheaper these vans are with only a couple of thousand miles more. Then, Joe calls and says I got the bank release for the 2017 Dodge Caravan do you still want to buy it? I said, only if the numbers are right meaning the price. We went back to Nissan of Yorktown Heights on Saturday July 10, 2021, 10:30 in the morning. We said we want to look the car over again, we had a lot of heavy rain the last couple of days. As we were looking over the van, we saw a lot of damage we didn't see before, body rot that was covered up with touch up paint the rain must of washed it off. the screws were also rusted, there was no spare tire, the under body was rusted, there was a dent on the back panel, and it was clear to me, the previous owner went to the beach everyday with his metal detector that's how the car got the body rot, it was the salt water in the air it rots metal. Again, they got my insurance card sent to them the day before I kept telling Joe, I don't know Joe, the numbers have to be right before we buy this van. We were turned off from the body rot on the car, and they refused to take $2000 more off the van because the van was only worth $16,600, which at that point we didn't want the van anymore. We lost our appetite with this dealership, we were done with making a deal, so we left. The reason I am sharing this is because in June they ran my credit, after they knew I didn't want the car on July 10, 2021, they ran my credit 4 more times that day without my permission. The Finance Agent knew I didn't want the van and he ran my credit 4 more times. THINK ABOUT HOW SHADY THAT IS TO DO TO A CONSUMER. He knew exactly what he was doing he brought my credit score down 23 points because I didn't buy the White 2017 Dodge Caravan. They're very spiteful characters in this dealership. Consumer Beware. More
Absolutely awful....Bring a mechanic and your lawyer with you if you're getting a car from them. Nick, their so called manager has 0 remorse about selling a lemon no matter how many bad Google reviews his you if you're getting a car from them. I just wanted the price of a car. They don’t put a sticker price. We went in. I was asked for my license and told I would get it back when the car I really didn’t want to test drive came. Was shown the features handed the keys and I tested it. Came back and he tried to run numbers before he told me the sticker price. I told him I couldn’t afford it and he insisted he could bring the numbers to where I could. I said no to the car. I left and realized he never gave me my license back. Called when I realized and he didn’t have my license. They LOST my license. Stay away. They are scammers. More

It was absolutely terrible!’ I came in with my pre-approved car loan. They insisted to use theirs and stating that I would get a better rate through their relationship with the bank! Not until I approached the Finance Manager’s office, he then presented me with a higher interest rate for the car loan. When I rejected the offer, he literally said that it is only a difference of a small change. I was treated like a nickel & dimer?! Who is the one nickle & dimer? When I rejected the warranty proposal, he gave me such an attitude with a condescending tone of voice. I will never go back to this Nissan nor my friends and my associates! I am spreading the word!! More

He said it was a customer seemed like a friend, you can tell. 2) Loved the car wanted to purchase but was told taking out a loan was required to get the price on-line that I saw which I was told included a $1,000 cash back but I Do Not want a loan I Have Cash. I was told if paying CASH the car price goes UP a thousand AND the car would then Not be Certified pre-owned. WHAT?? More
