Typical Car Sales Experience Sales negotiation was muddled and what I thought I was paying which was advertised on line for the vehicle was a $3000.00 difference. So needless to Sales negotiation was muddled and what I thought I was paying which was advertised on line for the vehicle was a $3000.00 difference. So needless to say, They advertise a vehicle on line for one price and have it jacked up at the dealership. The good ole bait and switch method. The person who was doing the negotiation just scribbled a bunch of writing on a piece of paper and gave me a final payment number. I was under the impression I was starting at the price advertised on line for the vehicle since I discussed it with my salesperson. Of course, I didn't see the difference until the following day which is bad on my part however, during the signing of the finance papers, the finance manager did not go over the numbers as I was signing. He just kept shoving papers in front of my face to sign therefore, I thought I was signing the better deal. Also, I spun their wheel for a prize in which they did not have on site and was told they would ship it to me and I have yet to receive it and it's been over three months. The salesman who has a vast amount of years of experience seems to be very forgetful. In three to five years when I plan to purchase another vehicle, I will definitely stay away from any and all dealerships with the Sutherland name. I also had the Sutherland logo removed from the vehicle as to not advertise for them. More
