For the past year my experience here has been the worst! I brought my car to this location last year in 2023 for a transmission replacement, the transmission was replaced however, since getting the transmis I brought my car to this location last year in 2023 for a transmission replacement, the transmission was replaced however, since getting the transmission changed my car has been plagued with constant issues. For the past year the Nissan technicians have been trying to figure out what the problem is.. all has seemed like a guessing game. For every recommendation that has been made I’ve paid out of pocket and with no resolution. Finally most recently it was said that the problem might be a wiring issue (harness problem) and “hoped with fingers crossed” that this would be what will fix a Po101 code the service advisors words. All while in the past there’d been other recommendations made for this PO101 code and I paid for out of pocket a cleaning of the throttle 10/2/23 The way that this has all played out leads me to think and believe that every suggestion has been on a guess. More
I have owned two Nissans and I've been going to this service department since 2011. I've had nothing but great service. Although I've been through a couple of service advisors, all the advisors are grea service department since 2011. I've had nothing but great service. Although I've been through a couple of service advisors, all the advisors are great and knowledgeable. I have never felt like I'm being overcharged or told to get work done that was not necessary. I've worked with small mechanic shops in the past and I've been ripped off. I've never felt that way at Nissan of Van Nuys service department. This is why I continue to return. More
