The sales manager, Nicholas, was a great individual to deal with and ensured that my wife and I were satisfied with our purchase. I highly recommend this dealership with a professional staff that won’t try to sell you, instead they listen to your needs and work from there. After all, I drove from Michigan to purchase my new vehicle because I was very impressed with Avery and Nicholas in my dealings by phone. My son went to look at a 2015 Cadillac on his own and rook a test drive. he told the salesman he would need to come back with his dad. We arrived in the morning, following his test drive. He found the salesman that he had talked to and asked for another test drive with me, his father. At that point, the sales manager (unusual name I don't recall) said, "Oh, that sold." The salesman looked confused, but repeated to us, "Um, I guess it sold." So we left. 15-20 minutes later, the salesman calls my son and tells him the deal fell through and he's next in line if he wants to come back. I take his phone, because something seems odd here, and I tell the sales manager that the car better be there when we come back. He assures me it will be. I drive the car and ask if I can have the car inspected. He said "no." The price rag on the car explains that a buyer can have a vehicle inspected, but he said, "any mechanic is going to find something, so that's why we don't do that." Granted, that should have been my walk away moment, but I knew my son really liked the car, and I wante to make it happen. So, we buy it. After a short while the rear end begins to sag. Our mechanic diagnosed it as a bad air suspension. He said that the codes showed the compressor shorted and failed and could no longer inflate suspension. He said that scan codes revealed the failure. There were no dash lights on when I drove and purchased the car. My mechanic showed me how the air ride can be inflated manually and appear fine, but over time would need the compressor to keep it inflated. Now, this is entirely my fault for purchasing a car that they would not let me have inspected, but it seems clear now, that they told me it was sold to buy enough time to manually inflate the air system and make the car appear fine. i have no recourse and will not pursue any because it's my fault, but I wanted to let others know. I thought I could avoid something like this when buying from a brand name dealer, but apparently not. Btw, when I asked about an inspection he printed out an "inspection" done by their mechanics. It did list a few obvious needs like tires, but neglected to mention the air suspension. Pretty seedy for a dealer like this. Be careful and get an inspection! More
