I tried to buy new Frontier from Streesboro but the sales manager would not sell it without some $1800 dealer add-on. I originally called and spoke with Andrew, specifically asked what the price would be, w manager would not sell it without some $1800 dealer add-on. I originally called and spoke with Andrew, specifically asked what the price would be, wasn't given a number but was told they sell at MSRP (no "market adjustment" like many other dealerships these days). Had a few other questions that he was supposed to get back to me with the following day but didn't, so I called back and was connected with Josh. Again, specifically asked what the price was and was told MSRP, so I went ahead and started the buying process. Got a call back a little while later from the sales manager to finalize everything and when I asked for a breakdown of the final price was then told about the dealer add-ons, some coating and an "anti theft" package that I was never able to receive a clear explanation of. Neither of these were mentioned before, not mentioned on the website, and not listed on the window sticker; I also didn't want either of these items (I'm perfectly capable of adding ceramic coating myself, and have car insurance that covers theft) but was told by the sales manager that they do not sell cars without them, its not optional which is just absolute nonsense, both waiting until the last minute to tell a customer of the charges as well as telling the customer they absolutely have to buy it. Also, you don't deserve some gold star just because you sell at MSRP when you then try to force buyers to purchase an additional $1800 add-on, it's in essence the same as a "market adjustment." More

I spent most of my day texting someone at VW of streetsboro. Sent them all my information and filled out a credit application, the whole nine yards. When chatting with whomever I asked about a spec streetsboro. Sent them all my information and filled out a credit application, the whole nine yards. When chatting with whomever I asked about a specific vehicle and we had also talked about my trade. During our conversation we set a time to meet and I was told to ask for Jacob. When arriving I was met with a random sales person. I asked for Jacob and was told that just a name they give and he could help me. I had to explain everything I had worked out with “Jacob” to this new sales person. They took all my information again and he then told me he had to walk over to Nissan or streetsboro to retrieve the vehicle. About 15 minutes later he returned with no vehicle and said that I had to walk over to Nissan and buy it from someone at that dealership. All this after I was told they were the same dealer. Now standing at Nissan I had to explain my deal for the third time. After the new sales person took all my information I waited for another 15 minutes to be told that the vehicle I had been working a deal on all day was sold. I was then told they wouldn’t honor the price on my trade. Needless to say this dealer is extremely unorganized and stereotypical in giving car sales a bad name. I had my children with me and it a complete waste of time. I will never entertain purchasing a vehicle from these dealerships furthermore, I will warn everyone about how poorly this transaction was handled. More
