Nissan of Richmond responded

We have reviewed your response and have found that you are the owner of a business that repairs and sells vehicles. You replaced the valve cover gaskets yourself to resolve a concern of check engine light on and random misfire concern. We informed you that the repair you made was incorrect to be honest... you stated that "you already had too much money in the vehicle and tried to fix it yourself instead of taking to dealer for repair". We advised replacing the valve covers to repair vehicle properly because the valve cover tube seals were the cause of the misfire as they were leaking oil into the spark plugs causing them to fowl again.
