Sold a vehicle which was unsafe to drive. About a year ago I've purchased a used "Nissan certified" vehicle. From day one of my purchase I have noticed the vehicle breaks make a loud squealing noise, I took the vehicle back and they did some work on it and noise dissipated for a day but then returned again. When I called the service again, they said some break pads will "naturally" make a noise and I shouldn't worry about it. Today I took my vehicle for a safety inspection and it failed because cv axle boot was cracked and grease from the axle was getting directly on the break pad and rotor, causing the squealing noise. All past year I had to drive the vehicle with potential break issue just because the said break pads may "naturally" make a noise. More
Overpriced!!! Do not take your car to this dealership for simple maintenance . My 18 year old son went for his oil change for life and he agreed to the maintenance Do not take your car to this dealership for simple maintenance . My 18 year old son went for his oil change for life and he agreed to the maintenance suggestions made by the dealership instead of calling me first. I had to foot the bill for a $155 dollar brake fluid change and $124 for filter changes. At my local Bonair mechanic, Doug at BP the charges would've been $64 for brake fluid change $18 for air filter he doesn't charge to put it in because "it is so easy" and $35 for cabin filter change !! When I spoke to the manager explaining that my son didn't understand how over priced that the charges were and that he was there for the oil change he was defensive and rude . I asked for a discount and he said he had considered it but because I suggested they were charging too much he wouldn't do it because "he didn't like my attitude" Johnathan Johnson Well we purchased our car there and have gone there for collision repair but they've lost a customer for life . Go see the most honest mechanic in Virginia Doug at BP in Bonair !! for any repair or maintenance!! More
Catastrophe I am rating it a one star simply because I have no choice. Well where to start? My mother and I visited this dealership in December 2015, we were just I am rating it a one star simply because I have no choice. Well where to start? My mother and I visited this dealership in December 2015, we were just VISITING, getting quotes, and looking at cars to possible buy in the near future. A salesperson named Will Brown approached us and of course brought us to his desk, gave us the new buyers application and went on from there. We repeatedly made him aware that we were just looking and that I was somewhat young and with very little credit history and low income. He was aware of that fact. He was also aware of the fact that my mother did not have good credit standings. (As she mentioned that to him several times) Well i guess the man did not care enough to let us know that there was no way we could've gotten a car financed AT THAT MOMENT. My mom and I, being the naive first time buyer costumers, did not know what he was doing. We gave him MY personal data, and he swore he would not run my credit score before asking for my permission and having me sign something. He did it anyway. We ended up looking a Nissan Rogue '14 that was originally 16k. My mom and I seemed excited, thinking we were able to obtain this vehicle. Well he gave us a lovely spreadsheet with the ESTIMATED interest rate and monthly payments. Well My mom and I loved that so we agreed and said hey why not. We go in the back room with the finance manager. Adam Packett. This man had no experience whatsoever it seemed. They wanted to finalize this deal in less than an hour. They knew from the beginning we were NOT capable of getting this vehicle financed. Anyways, while in the back room with the finance manager, he shows us this contract, a faux contract. The contract stated we would get this car with a 17% APR FOR 72 MONTHS. IM SORRY. But someone do the math and tell me what the total comes out to be after those 6 years are over. RIDICULOUS RIGHT? and that the car would be financed through "Nissan Bank" LIES all LIES. In reality there was no LIEN HOLDER. NOTHING. They had us on limbo for ONE MONTH. They handed me a car with HARD TAGS/PLATES without having anything sure, they lied to me. Used my mother as a cosigner without telling us and lied about our income to their banks. Oh and did i also mention that they ran my credit around 22 times? IT DROPPED TREMENDOUSLY. And OBVIOUSLY I ended up not getting the vehicle. I had it for a month, they called us in 4 weeks saying we needed to return it. So long story short not only did these people lack costumer service, but they lacked DECENCY. Worst dealership ever. Everybody understands car salesmen and their managers are DESPERATE to sell anything HOWEVER, if you are going to lie to your costumer in every single way possible then just don't even try. I truly hope this posts help someone who was or is in the same situation as my mother and I. Before you go to a dealership, you need to be sure you can say NO to their offers. Have the required documents ready and a good down payment. Do not let them have all the power. They will exploit you. How low do you all have to go to sell cars? Even if this is too negative to post, I still greatly hope one of your staff members reads this! It will bring me great joy :) More
Best service experience!!! I usually hate going to get my car serviced but the service department at Nissan of Richmond makes it so easy! The service manager Aaron always makes sure everything is running smoothly. You can tell that he genuinely cares about every single customer that steps foot into that service lane. I'm sure the other employees are just as good, but he goes ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! Thanks for a great experience Aaron! More
They are horrible!! The sales person Joseph was trying to manipulate words with me. He was trying to insult my culture and discriminate me on my color and region. He star The sales person Joseph was trying to manipulate words with me. He was trying to insult my culture and discriminate me on my color and region. He started off the conversation by saying that he would loose the job if I don't test drive the vehicle and after the test drive when I wasn't satisfied he was passing demeaning statements like "You are cheap" , "You are a liar" "Every one who is in your culture behaves like this" and many more. When I was walking out of the showroom there were 2 guys waiting to mock the customers who don't settle on a deal with this show room. My over all experience was bad and I don't recommend anyone to visit this dealer. More

Was a bad and costly experience I have been buying cars and trucks for over 45 years but very seldom from a dealership. I paid cash for a 2013 Nissan NV200 at a very fair price. Whil I have been buying cars and trucks for over 45 years but very seldom from a dealership. I paid cash for a 2013 Nissan NV200 at a very fair price. While waiting for my title to arrive I received a text message from Michael Robinson that I would have to pay VA sales tax before they could issue my new title. During the negotiation I had agreed to pay these taxes at a certain out the door price. The final out the door price was higher. On my buyers order there was a charge called a TLP fee which I thought was for taxes, but later found out it was not. When I was much younger I was told by an old guy that when purchasing a vehicle from any car salesman get it in writing. Now I am the old guy and sadly nothing has changed. More
Best experience purchasing a new vehicle It was a great experience purchasing a new vehicle from Nissan of Richmond. Everyone involved was friendly and professional. I contacted Corey Joseph It was a great experience purchasing a new vehicle from Nissan of Richmond. Everyone involved was friendly and professional. I contacted Corey Joseph and inquired about the purchase of a new Nissan Rogue SL with a particular exterior and interior color option and less than 24 hours later the deal was done. This was by far the best experience in purchasing a new vehicle thanks to all involved at Nissan of Richmond. I'd like to thank Michael Robinson (Sales) , Dean Peckett (Sales Manager), Harry Zahirovic (Finance Manager) and a special thanks to Corey Joseph (Business Development Manager). More

Rodney is a nice country man who made me and my father feel very comfortable throughout the car buying process. I ended up buying an Infiniti G37x instead of a G25 because someone showed up for the lower model right before I did but I'm very glad I made this decision. I love my car and appreciate Rodney's occasional phone calls to check in. His customer service deserves this 5-star review and my business in the future! More
LOW pressure NO BS Dealership From the time we stepped on to the lot to the time we drove off in our new (to us) Xterra we received courteous, friendly, and pressure free attention From the time we stepped on to the lot to the time we drove off in our new (to us) Xterra we received courteous, friendly, and pressure free attention. Our associate Wil treated us like we were VIP customers tossing us the keys and answering questions without once making me feel like I was not in control. I feel like I got a great deal on my trade in and a very good deal on the Xterra that started 2 thousand dollars than a comparable vehicle at Car max. The purchase process was quick and easy without the fifteen drawn out trips to " check with my Manager" that I have been tortured with in other dealerships. Overall I cant say enough positive things about what normally is a stessful and daunting process made pleasurable by Wil and the gang at West Broad Nissan. More
