We apologize about the experience that you had with us. We strive to create a fun, ethical, and great experience in every facet of our dealership; we fell short of this with you and your experience. In regards to your trade value; when you first arrived at the dealership and spoke with Dylan, your Sequoia (your trade) was not with you. Upon Dylan asking you various questions about the condition of the vehicle, you mentioned that the vehicle was in average condition. We appraised your vehicle based on the information you provided with the caveat that this was just an estimate, as you requested, and an official trade value would be given upon physically looking and appraising the vehicle. When you arrived back at the dealership Sunday with your Sequoia, we noticed that the rear tailgate of your vehicle was damaged and had started to rust. Dylan was busy, so you spoke with our Business/Sales Manager Jarrod and mentioned to that you wouldn’t be seriously looking for a vehicle for another 4-5 months. In average condition your vehicle would be worth the original estimate given to you by Dylan, but due to the undisclosed damage on the tailgate of the vehicle, the trade is value decreased by $1,000. Again, we apologize that you feel as though we have deceived you in any way, but we were just going on the information you provided us with.
