I’ve been putting off making this review because I was extremely upset, but now, it is time for me to speak out so other buyers are made aware of how Nissan of Picayune, Mississippi treats some customers! extremely upset, but now, it is time for me to speak out so other buyers are made aware of how Nissan of Picayune, Mississippi treats some customers! This dealership uses extremely deceptive sales tactics— among many other issues, they didn’t disclose a damaged door, which was easy to miss when the car salesman happened to be standing in front of it; they also gave me a runaround, hoping I’d give up; when I called on multiple occasions and drove almost 2 hours to the dealership to speak to management to try to get the issues resolved. I was told that the owners, Miss and Miss Bacon were out of town and that they would get back to me when they got back after the Thanksgiving holiday. I never heard from anyone since I was there. I even had to cancel my trip to volunteer in Tennessee and North Carolina because I was concerned about the issue with the tires. There’s one thing that is indisputable and make no mistake, I’m fully aware of my rights as a used car buyer—I absolutely do have recourse in the state of Mississippi, and I am going to pursue it to the fullest of the law— and I will not rest until the people at Nissan picking make this right! After many times of calling, I have yet to receive return calls about the many issues. Furthermore, service put the wrong size tires back on the 4-Runnier—service agent (manager, if I’m not mistaken) admitted he never checked the tag inside Driver’s side door; he actually said “I don’t know much about tires.” That’s a direct quote, by the way! Bottom line they had a vehicle, which they absolutely knew about but didn’t disclose the damage to the passenger door and they used deceptive tactics to get rid of it! Even the ”Car Guru” listing was deceptive. The only way one could see the damage to the door was if you magnified the photo because the 4Runner is a Pearl Color and in certain light one couldn’t tell unless looking very close. Yeah, the Internet is forever, and those photos and the listing have been saved for future reference. Let me be clear I would have never purchased this vehicle, which they believe I’m stuck with, if they would have been honest and disclosed the damage to the door, or if I would have been able to see the damage prior to purchase. I actually only saw the damage, by chance, with a flashlight the evening I got home! I absolutely will not, now or ever, recommend Nissan of Picayune, Mississippi and I definitely will never purchase anything from them, again! However, there is one, and only person I’m able to give “kudos” to. Therefore, the only person I will give a shout out to at the dealership is Alex, the Finance Manager. He was very professional, and helpful! The rest of my experience and interaction with the dealership personnel has turned into an absolute nightmare! More
