I went to this dealership after seeing on their website that they offer a lifetime limited warranty on used cars (specifically 2013 or newer and under 80k miles) I originally called to confirm and was told that they offer a lifetime limited warranty on used cars (specifically 2013 or newer and under 80k miles) I originally called to confirm and was told that was accurate. I was also told they were doing a special on trade ins (supposedly giving up to 5k over KBB) So I contacted the lady that confirmed the warranty (Sybil) and told her I wanted to come see how much I would get for my trade that had only 107k miles on it. She stated it would only take 15-20 min to find out. I arrived and was greeted at door by Sybil and her assistant. Her assistant took over and took my keys to appraise my trade. While that was happening she took me to a desk to go over what I was looking to get and my budget. I informed them I didn't need financing and would be paying cash along with trade. I told her what I wanted and let her know I was on a time crunch that day and mainly wanted to know about my trade so I could budget what I could afford. She brought me a very low ball trade offer ($1800) and had me look at a car that was 6k over my budget. I asked what happened to trade in special and inquired about warranty again. Sybil came out to explain what they advertise on their website is not free, it costs $2900 (even though it clearly states "at no cost to buyer") and to say they can't tell me what I can get on trade until I pick out a car. After some back and forth she said they'd give me 5k on my trade. I let them know i had to leave and would check out inventory online and went home. I texted Sybil next day with a car listed in their site but she wasn't there that day and said she would let me know the next day. I waited the next day and she never contacted me, so I called to talk to used sales manager and left a message for him (Dennis) waited till 5pm that day on a call back that never came. So I called again and left another msg. Dennis finally called me back and I explained how I felt I had been treated. He told me he would put a list together and call me the next day. He did call and leave a message, but I was at work and called him back next day to find out what he put together. I called that next day and again left a message which has yet to be returned. I had cash, this should have been an easy sale for them but they decided to ignore me and basically made me feel like they didn't want to do business with me. I will never step foot back in their dealership. I very happily bought a car down the street at another dealership, Hyundai of Orange Park where everything was up front easy and honest. So glad I didn't give Nissan of Orange Park any if my money. Steer clear of them!! Bait and switch tactics, false advertising!! More
