My experience with buying a Nissan Rogue at this dealership has been extremely disappointing and worrying. Just 3 months after buying the vehicle, it went into recall. Subsequently, I received an official letter warning that during the use of the vehicle there is a risk that it will FIRE or even that the ENGINE WILL FALL while it is in motion. This is not a minor detail: it is a serious risk to life. Since then I have sought help and to this day they have not given me any real solution. The dealer has shown no interest or urgency, despite the fact that it is a security problem. This vehicle is the main car of my home, it is a family vehicle, I have two children and I am a single mother. I am forced to drive with fear, not knowing if I am putting my life and that of my children at risk, while the dealer and Nissan simply ignore the situation. It is unacceptable to sell a vehicle that after a few months presents such a serious recall and then abandon the customer when he needs support most. Buying a new car should give you peace of mind, not fear or anguish. I do not recommend this dealership at all. I was with a friend when she purchased a new vehicle. The lack of professionalism is where I will start. I was sitting at one of the sales person’s desk and could hear the profanity coming from multiple people in that office. The finance person, Jay Simpson, was also completely rude and condescending to my friend that was purchasing a new vehicle. First the finance guy said it’s a law that you have insurance on the newly purchased vehicle before leaving the lot then he backpedaled and said that it was the dealerships policy that states that you must have insurance before you leave the lot. She did have insurance. We googled what the law requires and that was a lie. And also in the insurance policy binder that you have 10 days to show coverage. Then he said that he must have it by 10 am the next day. My friend added the car on her insurance companies app while at the dealership but that wasn’t good enough for the finance rep. They also wanted personal references. They said this is what the finance company needs. This is the biggest joke. Let’s be clear, this a glorified marketing list so they can hound your “references”. And we were told just put whatever it doesn’t really matter! I just recently purchased a new car but not from this dealership and this is the biggest joke of a dealership and the clowns that work there. She was treated passively and aggressively because she’s a female. Let’s call that the truth. The only positive thing I can say was that the sales person, Mario was nice. She would have walked out but she recently sold her car and really wanted the one she purchased. Also, the showroom was dingy and the glass windows were all smeared. The ceiling tiles had multiple water stains and some tiles were missing. So I guess if the dealership doesn’t look professional and clean why should the finance director and or others around be professional either! A. If you are a female, be carful how they talk down to you B. The finance guy, Jay, needs to know what the laws and policies are before getting caught in a lie and backpedaling Buyer beware! More
I went back and worked with Tony who…. was… AMAAAAAZING! He never hesitated to answer my questions, didn’t avoid them or use any sales tactics! If anyone is wanting a straight forward experience I would suggest working with Tony. His office is right by the coffee machine! I also have to give some love the Finance Director Jay who more than made up for not charging me the correct down payment when I signed but instead gave me a full tank of gas to offset the $15 credit card fee! Be sure to do your service with this rm also and they send you coupons for discounted service and oil changes so there’s no need to go where if a synthetic oil change is costing you 29.99 and free the month of your bday! Shortly after arrival Nick introduced me to Steve Bristol and Steve was extremely helpful in finding exactly what I wanted, down to every little detail. Finally, Jay Simison finalized the deal on the paperwork side and made it a painless finish.
