Purchased 2011 Altima December, 2012 with 24,000 miles. Had wife take car from Big Spring to have airbag sensor looked at, thats when the crap started. Two days later I have to take off work to go see what Had wife take car from Big Spring to have airbag sensor looked at, thats when the crap started. Two days later I have to take off work to go see what the problem was to have warranty work done, car has 28,500 on it today August, 2013. Wife was given the run around I get to talk with a Nissan Rep. wow I was impressed (not!!!). First service person said that airbag had been deployed and we would have to talk to a manager. Came out with a price of $1320 to replace sensor. Thats when I got involved. They all but accused us of having a wreck to cause the airbag deployment. Nissan Rep. stated we would have to leave the car their for 30-60 days and order the part and do a complete diagnostic of the car. They did say they would get us a rental car while the car was at the dealership and they would inure the cost (nice of them). Three hours later they called us and said car was fixed, replaced faulty sensor. Yolanda service person said it took her about 30 minutes to fix problem.....what happen to we got to order part and run test on car? I will be taking car to another Nissan dealership to make sure light was not removed from dash or disconnected. Sales manager made off the wall comment to my wife when she took the car to be fixed. Guess who was not working at the dealership today??? You guessed it the Salesman who sold us the car and the sales manager. Will not be doing any type of business with this dealership ever again..
