I am an old man. The Nissan Altima recently purchased will be the last auto I buy. My objective was a samller auto to replace a '99 large car. We have a small 2-car garage. I visited competitive dealers with comparable size autos, with reputations in manufacture, and dealers with a reputation for decency in business practices. One dealer staff did not expect that we sere serious. That dealer also was sure that they would run out of autos. Another dealership wanted me to let them know when I was "ready to commit". When I went to Team Nissan on Cobb Parkway, Jonathan Matsikira met me at the doorway. I told him that I was unsure about which auto to look over. Nissan Sentra, Versa, or Altima. Jonathan listened to every comment I made. He provided me with "spec" sheet data, specific equipped samples, and then quickly we discussed prices and terms. Jonathan heard everything I had said about "turnoffs" that would drive me out the door. He avoided those. He assisted me in getting a simple trunk cargo net after the purchase and getting it installed in spite of install instructions not mentioning clips needed to install. I didn't have to complain, because Jonathan resolved the install. With sales persons who care about customers, customers don't have to solve all problems alone. Thank you Jonathan, and Team Nissan. Team Nissan Of Marietta ia great. I recently brought a 2011 Versa from Alex, very professional, and patient with me "middle-aged woman' on a budget.Everyone was very friendly and I really felt like they h 2011 Versa from Alex, very professional, and patient with me "middle-aged woman' on a budget.Everyone was very friendly and I really felt like they had my best interest in mind. Alex, explained the features of the car several times for me. Mohammed, was very helpful in telling me what to ask my insurance company in terms of securing a loan at the best rate. The building itself is starting to show its age.But glad to see they are building a new dearlership right across the street. More
I am a bit upset with the treatment I have had with this organization (Team Nissan of Marietta). I feel like I was blown off by one salesman when asking about a return policy I was wanting to cancel the ver organization (Team Nissan of Marietta). I feel like I was blown off by one salesman when asking about a return policy I was wanting to cancel the very next morning, and that got resolved in a way, but the reasoning behind the refund policy (this car does qualify for the 3 day rule) was convoluted. I also signed paperwork 9pm at night the night before and had a bit of buyer’s remorse the very next morning and called them immediately. I even offered to pay for whatever miles I used in the used vehicle to void out my contract. I wasn’t even in the system for any bank yet and I am still unsure of what bank I am going through. Ok, yes it is my fault for signing onto something so big and trading in my car out of frustration, however, one thing I feel that was happening was that I was being lied to. The general manager informed me after my first issue that the vehicle I traded in was already put into a bid for some Toyota dealership and he would not be able to get it back. That was the reasoning he gave me. I took it with a grain of salt because I feel that the return policy was a bit convoluted as well. I go to Nissan the other day and my new salesman (which has been wonderful by the way) mentions showing my previous vehicle to a potential buyer. I smiled, but was furious about being lied to by the General Manager just days before. When I go to look at the price, it is about $25,000.00. Note, this is for something they gave me $19,000 for. It has also been in three wrecks and been broken into (the reason I was frustrated and traded it in). I know you have to make a profit, but I feel a bit bamboozled by a $6000.00 profit. That is 25-30% you are making off of this and they acted like they could not even go down on the sticker price of the vehicle that I was attempting to buy, so I feel that $25,000 is going to be the price no matter what. I even brought up a good point (or at least, I thought it was) to the General Manager: It is going to be harder to find a buyer for a vehicle that has been wrecked three times and got vandalized than it will for this Juke they sold me. I am getting used to my new vehicle, but I just wanted to let someone know how I feel about the whole situation. If I had gotten treated correctly as a customer in the first place and not lied to, I would not have this issue. Nissan makes a great product. In fact, I really like the Juke. I just feel that if the customer service is sub-par, the whole experience is sub-par, including the product. In the future, please teach your people respect and honesty when dealing with customers. Those two pillars tore down any trust I have in their product. Either way, I feel that I will be treated like “that guy who complains a lot” when I come to visit Nissan. I did not quite have this experience at Toyota. ¤Addendum¤ Paul has been working with me and so far has been outstanding. My hope this trend continues. If it does continue like it has, I will reccommend people and come back myself :). i have already sent one person! More
I inquired about buying a car on line first to get a feel of where i want to go. Team Nissan of Marietta respond very quickly and professional to my online request. By the time I arrived at the dealership, I of where i want to go. Team Nissan of Marietta respond very quickly and professional to my online request. By the time I arrived at the dealership, I already felt good about choosing they over the competition. To put this in prospective, I drove 40 miles from the other side of Atlanta to buy a car. I probably passed 20 dealership in between. I was greeted the minute I walked through the door by Adolpho. He was as far away from the typical car salesman as he could possibly be. he was kind, soft spoken, and genuinely had my best interest as his number 1 priority. He listened, asked probing questions and ultimately found me what I wanted for the price I needed. I was truly impressed by the way everyone worked as a team. My team of pros. I met the GM Dustin, my finance guy Greg, and my "consultant" Adolpho. I never felt I was being pushed, manipulated, or tricked. Instead, I was treated with respect and five star service like I was buying a Fererri not a Nissan. More
Attempted to bait and switch by adding dealer installed extras you never discussed in ad or negotiations and that add over $1,200 to the price. Dealer also ollected extra sales tax on out of state sale and extras you never discussed in ad or negotiations and that add over $1,200 to the price. Refused to allow probate judge to return overage and now have to file complaint with state of Georgia for these thieves. More
I dropped my car off Friday afternoon and figured it wouldn't be ready until Monday, but Joey called me at work and explained the work that needed to be done. I was surprised to hear him say that it wou wouldn't be ready until Monday, but Joey called me at work and explained the work that needed to be done. I was surprised to hear him say that it would be ready for pick-up at 5pm! I will never take my car anywhere else even if it isn't a Nissan! I've told all my friends about Team and plan to purchase my new car from there in the next year or so. Thanks Joey! More
Went to dealership with my mom to buy my first new car. Mom was with me to cosign if my credit wasn't enough to get a good rate. Test drove a little silver Versa and really liked it. Didn't haggle on th Mom was with me to cosign if my credit wasn't enough to get a good rate. Test drove a little silver Versa and really liked it. Didn't haggle on the price or anything and agreed to buy it. Did the initial paperwork with the sales guy and then was turned over to Scott for financing and finalizing the paperwork. Scott did the paperwork and in the beginning, could not get the monthly payment down to where I need it to be so he said, "I'm going to do a favor" and then he lowered the rate. Got the payment down to where I wanted it, we signed the paperwork and I drove home in my new car. It has been a nightmare ever since. These guys have called me dozens of times telling me that they wanted my mom to come back and cosign, that the bank didn't agree to the rate they signed off on. Mom has since said that she would never sign anything with this dealership as they appear to have shady business practices. Then they said I might have to bring the car back. I said, "Fine. Let me know." I was told they would call me the next morning (on a Saturday) and let me know the decision. They call on Saturday and are basically asking where I am as they thought I was supposed to be there. Then they tell me that they are able to use a different bank and it will be okay. Can I come in on Monday and do the paperwork again...sure, I say. So, today is Monday. I go in, they hit me up for another $500 towards the car (they didn't get it) and then start in saying they will have to take the car. I just don't understand why my car buying experience turned into such a hassle!! We all signed the papers on Monday evening, the car was turned over to me and now they are going back on the deal??? How is this possible??? More
I am very sorry for NISSAN but I am not anylonger considering this brand for myself to buy a new car.I visisted this dealership last week with my wife. We both drove our car there and it should have considering this brand for myself to buy a new car.I visisted this dealership last week with my wife. We both drove our car there and it should have may be signaled or give the clue that we possible wanted to trade in one of our newer BMW's. Instead having a nice and warm greeting from a true sales professional during this chilling cold February day, we were "caught up" outside by a younger sales person, with a Haitian or Jamaican accent. No introduction of his at all. Just "How can I help you?" My wife and I were telling him that we would like to have a thourough overview of a 370Z coupe. Instead to guide us inside to warm-up he chased us through the lot, wheere exactly 2 models were standing. TWO MODELS! After asking him if there were other colors available than silver and black, he just followed his possible sales script of extras and transmission types I not aquired about. After asking him again about the colors and starting price points as well as if he would have different models to show us he actually started arguing and challenging me about the colors and said that there were more colors. Which one are still kept as his secret by today. To avoid getting even more cold outside (he did not even make a suggestion to get a car warmed up and possible test-driving it) I told him that I just want to do my own research and would like to have a brochure. This took him more than 3 minutes. He did not ask about me trading in possible, he did not ask me for my name or my phone number, he did not introduced me to a Manager - nothing. A very poor experience for me, who was really looking into this Nissan before this thing occured. I am also blaming the Sales Management, who had nothing to do than sitting on their sales tower and were hiding behind their desk. My wife and I were the only customer in this showroom at this time. So an excuse that they were busy will be not accepted. It is a shame for a Manufacturer like Nissan and the Team Group to have a store like this. I guess I will look into a comparable model at the Mazda or Hyundai range. Thank you for nothing! More
My buying experiance with this dealership was great once we settlted on a price. I would highly recommend this DealerShip. They gave me Fair value for my tradein and when I showed them the ADD in the paper we settlted on a price. I would highly recommend this DealerShip. They gave me Fair value for my tradein and when I showed them the ADD in the paper for Murano SL from another dealership. they honored the price. They could not find the color I wanted for that price, they did however find a gold Murano for the price, which was close engough. More
We became disenchanted with Honda after our last purchase in 2003. We bought a new Sentra from Team Nissan in 2006 and have been pleased ever since.
