I would not return to this Nissan (or any Nissan for that matter) due to their outrageous diagnostic fee. I went in with an idea of what was wrong with my car. I have a code reader at home so I was knew that matter) due to their outrageous diagnostic fee. I went in with an idea of what was wrong with my car. I have a code reader at home so I was knew that they were going to get a P0101 code, however, I wanted to make sure they did not get any additional codes that my machine did not pick up on. Upon arrival, I was told the diagnostic fee was $170, this is where I should have walked out because that alone is a ridiculous amount of money to hook up a machine to my car and press a couple of buttons. On top of that I was told that was only the price if the technician came to a conclusion within an hour, so if he needed more than hour...I would have been charged more than $170. What I wasn't told was that they tack on a "shop fee" and taxes, which makes no sense because my car did not go to the shop for repair at that time. By the time I left, my total was $200 and I opted not to get repairs done here because they wanted $1600 to replace my MAF sensor, clean my throttle body, and reset my ECM. All repairs that I was capable of doing myself in under 3 hours. The sensor cost less than $300, so they essentially wanted to charge $1300 for labor. It felt like a complete overpriced scam, they tried to tell me about a financing option which tells you they are aware the price is ridiculously high. More
