Will be seeking service elsewhere I was charged an additional $19.99 for a service I did not request.. when I asked them about it, their response was “We assumed you’d want this done s I was charged an additional $19.99 for a service I did not request.. when I asked them about it, their response was “We assumed you’d want this done since you had opted for it in the past.” But that was not what my appointment was for. The service I was charged for (and eventually refunded) was a tire pressure check. Driving down the road 20 minutes after I finally leave, I check my pressure and they were scattered from 39psi all the way to 52psi when my tires require 32psi. Good thing I got the refund since they clearly didn’t actually preform this service anyway! More

Warranty Worth? Took my car in for oil change. As part of this they removed my cabin filter and showed it to me and asked if I wanted it replaced. I had it replaced a Took my car in for oil change. As part of this they removed my cabin filter and showed it to me and asked if I wanted it replaced. I had it replaced and was charged $19 labor. Is it just me or is this insane as it would have had to be put back if I had not replaced it at no charge. Plus now the ventilation system is noisy. At this same service I mentioned a noticeable whine in the rear end which they say was a bad wheel bearing. At a previous oil change 5000 miles ago while under warranty I mentioned the same whine. At that time they drove it and said it was from uneven tire wear. By this oil change I had had 4 new tires put on. Of course I am now out of warranty so they sent a request up the chain to see if Nissan will cover under warranty. Seems like a no brainer but no answer several days later. More
Fixing a manufacturing mistake! I feel that the service department was very helpful and attentive to my needs. My issue however is with the manufacturing plant. It was explained to me that two parts used to fasten the calipers to my brakes on the driver side were missing. As I had never had my car in any other mechanic or dealership. The only conclusion given to me was that they were not placed when the vehicle was built. It was also explained to me that this could have been a dangerous problem if these calipers had come loose while driving. I want someone from the Nissan corporation to contact me to tell me how they are going to make his serious issue right and assure me that I will be safe to buy Nissan products in the future. Oil change I used to dread going in to get my oil changed, but the past 7-8 years changed that. Now, when I go in for any service at Nissan in Jefferson City, I I used to dread going in to get my oil changed, but the past 7-8 years changed that. Now, when I go in for any service at Nissan in Jefferson City, I look forward to being treated with professionalism and courtesy. I get out of my car, tell the attendant what I’m there for and Brian comes to get me when all the services have been completed. The waiting area is clean and stocked with drinks and popcorn. It was a very pleasant experience and I’d highly recommend the service department!! More
