Bunch of Crooks I brought my car in for a self-diagnosed problem with my transmission. Service checked codes to confirm and suggested installation of accessory CVT oi I brought my car in for a self-diagnosed problem with my transmission. Service checked codes to confirm and suggested installation of accessory CVT oil cooler at $1090. Cost of the part was $635. I opted to purchase the part/kit to install it myself and was charged a $99.95 diagnostic fee which is completely ridiculous given that I spent almost $700 on parts with this dealership, not to mention that $119 I spent just 3 days before on my regular oil change and tire rotation, where I was also sold a BG “sludge cleaning”. The service manager refused to refund the diagnostic fee. I asked for a full refund on the part/kit earlier in the morning, on the same day, before picking it up as I had found the same item at another dealership for almost $150 less. This, too, was refused. These service people are shady crooks. My current vehicle (2008 Rogue) has almost 180,000 miles on it and I was planning on replacing it with a new Rogue within the next 1.5-2 years. I no longer have the desire to own another Nissan vehicle given the way the service department is willing to treat a loyal Nissan customer of 10 years, not including the years I drove my father’s Nissan Frontier before the Rogue, and before that, his Datsun Pickup. Maybe Toyota would appreciate my business on my next vehicle. More

Stopped by a couple of days later (my preferred method of setting up an appointment time), explained what I tried to do and asked if it showed up on their end. I was told that they would make the appointment for me at the preferred time that I tried filling myself. I got there at the appointment time, immediately got my car's oil changed and tires rotated, while I drank a latte, then was back on my way. More
