Words can not express the unsettling sistuation that happened. Went for routine oil change. After driving in my car for 4 days, 80 miles or more each day, discovered puddle of oil in my garage. Lifted hood to find they forgot to put cap on engine after oil change and left dipstick out and it bent over. Had to have it towed to dealership. Their response first $50 credit toward anything in there store.... then they decided to give me 2 free oil changes after my car was covered in oil for 4 days and could have seized up on the highway. They re-did my oil change and said they washed the under carriage... picked it up,was 1 mile from home and the driver back tire started making a loud clunking noise. Then bang, noise was gone found a tool on side of road. Husband checked to see if there was any damage to find under carriage still covered in oil... next day called them, they apologized said they told the employees to wash under carriage don't know what happened..... asked for service manager to call us back still haven't heard from him. Just unreal, oh and I ended up falling in my garage because I couldn't get the oil all up and I slipped. Simple oil change on a brand new car and all this happened. I was not treated like a customer that had bought several cars from this dealership.As I think back at the ten previous cars I purchased never had such a bad experience. When I came home with my used Sentra ; I discovered body damage to the trunk of the Sentra.It took me three weeks to recover from the shock.of my purchase .During that time I did not receive a phone call from my salesman. On 7/28 at 9am I returned to Sutherlin to have my sale completed. It needed the interior to be detailed, spare key, and a full tank of gas. I showed my salesman the damage to the trunk and he said he didn’t know it existed.When I left the dealership I noticed the interior of the car was still dirty.The trash from the previous owner hadn’t been removed. Security Plus extended warranty not as advertised. Dealership issue. When I purchased my new 2017 Altima from Sutherlin, there was a hard pitch for the Nissan Security + Gold Preferred extended war Dealership issue. When I purchased my new 2017 Altima from Sutherlin, there was a hard pitch for the Nissan Security + Gold Preferred extended warranty. It was sold as bumper to bumper with a few exceptions. So last month we took it to get some items fixed. We had paint peeling of at the back window, the speaker covers on the dash are warping, and the splash protector under the car had partially fallen off and was being held in place by cable ties since the bolting came off. The dealership said none of it was covered. My wife went into dealership and discussed it with the Manager and it was a waste of time. Not customer orientated! We called Nissan Corporate and after a week they finally got back. We were told that it is up to the dealership what is covered. Wow really. They would not get involved. We had done this in the past with other Altimas and we got the repairs so something changed and the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. Stay away from the warranty and the Sutherlin dealership! More
