My experience with Sutherlin Nissan of Ft Myers was very pleasant Mr. Guillermo is the best salesperson who worked on finding me the car I wanted and Mr. Jose worked on getting me approved for the loan, he pleasant Mr. Guillermo is the best salesperson who worked on finding me the car I wanted and Mr. Jose worked on getting me approved for the loan, he even got my payment reduced by almost $100. per month. THEIR SALES TEAM LIES AND PRESSURES PEOPLE - When I came in and dropped my car off - sales came up to me and asked if they could make a sales appointment for when I came back to pick up my car. I said I am in and dropped my car off - sales came up to me and asked if they could make a sales appointment for when I came back to pick up my car. I said I am happy with my car - but my exended warranty will be running out soon. I said if the numbers work AND I can get a better extended warranty - we will see what we can work out. But I am in no big rush. I think the sales guy name began with a D and his nickname was "The Bee?" He texted me the next morning to confirm my appointment time. That day - I had multiple people from sales call me to schedule an appointment. When I got there - I picked my car up - and told them I had an appointment made with the guy. During the sales - I made sure to say multiple times and talked about my past experience with my car and the warranty. This is my 3rd nissan so I know what to expect. My care has 75,000 miles so I wanted to get something lower - but the first few cars were above 60,000 miles. Also - he kept wanting to show me S models. I was told they are all certified pre-ownded and have the manafacture extended warranties on their cars. (We even discussed this because my current car was there for a warranty repair that I was picking up!). I was looking at a car - but the numbers were more than what I was paying. I told them I did not want that. I was going to leave - and they transfered me to a different guy - Yuri. They showed me a different car and he also told me the car includes the extended warranty. He said if we can do it for the price I am paying now - would I sign. I tried to get it a few bucks lower and he just said no. Eventually - I said ok for the price I was paying - since it was less miles - 1 year newer - and had the extended warranty. I was there for hours as they were working on the paperwork. I asked to see the carfax and he told me they do all that at the end. After I moved all my stuff to the new car including re-doing the plates - they said they had everything ready. We went through the paperwork and as we were completing it - it was 1) for a higher price than what I signed on the unofficial paper. 2) It DID NOT include the extended warranty. Oh - and the car - did have a crash on the carfax - after I had to ask about it again. It was a minor to moderate crash - but still unless I asked again - they would not have showed me. Yuri lied and said he never told me that - which when I asked him questions he just said that was not what he said or avoided the question. They called up Dan Bee? (since he left without saying anything) and he apparently forgot everything we talked about with my warranty repairs too. All of a sudden - the warranty everyone meant was the standard drivetrain - not the extended warranty that fixed my seat, lights, AC, etc - that I talked about to both of them. Also - they said they woud review the drivetrain warranty with him in the morning. At this point - I was done with their lies and games. The finance guy was nice about it - but honesty - afer being there for 4 hours - did not even appologize. The sales team is just sharks trying to find blood. Paying 12,000 dollars for 20,000 miles less would be insane. I will still with my current payments. There are so many better places to buy cars with no haggle prices. Just watch these guys prey on people in the service waiting room - trying to talk to people and get their info to make a sale. More
