Nissan of Elk Grove wrote on 6/3/2008 4:20:07 PM: Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I understand that you and Rob Martinez did have a conversation after this incident took place. There has been a warning report issued and additional product and customer service training initiated due to this situation with Tina. There is no excuse for Tina giving the other customer mis-information about John's lunch hour. She should not have made light about it after he returned early. As for the explanation of repair work, we will continue to provide training for Tina so she will be able to grow into a trustworthy Service Advisor.

Our technicians and advisors work together to determine what is wrong with your vehicle when you bring it in to service. There is a charge for diagnosing the problem, and in your case it was $110.00 diagnostics. If you had chosen to pay for the repair work, that diagnositic fee is waived. Unfortunately your Murano's mileage is at 47,000 miles, and the part of your seat that is broken was covered for 36,000 miles or 3 years from your in service date. We are willing to work with you on the costs of the repairs. Please contact Rob Martinez at 916-405-5129 to discuss.
