Don't buy used cars from Nissan of Cookeville I bought a used vehicle from Nissan of Cookeville and within 2 days of driving off the lot the check engine light came on. I took the vehicle back to I bought a used vehicle from Nissan of Cookeville and within 2 days of driving off the lot the check engine light came on. I took the vehicle back to the dealership and luckily I bought the extended warranty because if I hadn't they wouldn't have done anything. They kept my vehicle for over 2 weeks and did not provide me with a comparable vehicle that would meet my needs for work, so I lost a lot of work during those 2 weeks. They replaced my engine with a non-rebuilt engine from a junk yard that leaks oil everywhere and has still yet to fix the leak. After they replaced the engine I noticed that they left the reservoir cap that provides antifreeze to the radiator off and I had to go back to have them put it back on. Luckily it wasn't warm enough for the engine to overheat. Also keep in mind that I had to make 10 or more trips back and forth to Nissan from my home which is a 80 mile round trip to try and get all my issues resolved. I am out 800 miles total in gas. Lost over $1000.00 worth of work and still don't have a reliable vehicle because the oil is leaking on the exhaust which can cause a fire. I use the vehicle for my lively hood because I am self-employed and told them that before I bought the vehicle. I have contacted them several times regarding the leak and still nothing has been done. I am going to have to fix the leak myself and seek legal help about the issue. I have everything documented so it should be a no brainer when we go to court. The fact that the check engine light came on so quickly shows that the issue was pre-existing and shows foul play on Nissan's part. When asked I will not recommend Nissan of Cookeville because of the poor service I have received. I have never had this many issues when buying a used vehicle and I will never buy from Nissan of Cookeville again. More
