Customer oriented dealership I was owner of a dealership for 26 years and I know what to look for in a dealership and what to stay away from. I was in the market for a 2017 Ni I was owner of a dealership for 26 years and I know what to look for in a dealership and what to stay away from. I was in the market for a 2017 Nissan Murano Platinum for my daughter. Now days it saves a lot of time to inquire about vehicles on line versus the old fashion way of door to door shopping. I contacted seven Nissan dealerships. Four were in my Middle Tennessee area and the other three were from different surrounding states. I have purchased vehicles in the past from Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama so dealership proximity was not a deciding factor. I contacted each Nissan dealership through their respective websites explaining the make, model, color and option package that I was going to purchase. Five of the seven dealerships contacted me back. The other two I still have not heard from. I explained that I was looking for the best price on the vehicle that I had inquired about and that it was going to be an all cash deal with no trade in involved. I explained that each dealership had one shot at my business and I would take the lowest total sales price. Jeff Cummings of Nissan of Cookeville came in with the best price. I called him, we talked, and he said that they did not have the exact vehicle but could get it in a day or so. I told him it was for my daughter and he invited us to the dealership to look at and drive the same vehicle in a different color to make sure that this was the vehicle that we both wanted. Long story short, We left a deposit, he obtained the vehicle, and now my daughter is the proud new owner of a 2017 Nissan Murano. Jeff Cummings went above and beyond in the sales process. There was no pressure, no harassing phone calls, and no overselling. The other personell that I met at the dealership were extremely nice and helpful and the establishment was immaculately clean. I would reccomend this dealership to anyone who should ask. If you are in the market for a new Nissan, give Nissan of Cookeville, TN a shot, you'll be glad that you did. More
