horrible horrible horrible - do not buy a non Nissan vehicle I wish I could rate them lower but I am not able to. Apparently you should not purchase a GM vehicle from a different dealership. They seem to not w I wish I could rate them lower but I am not able to. Apparently you should not purchase a GM vehicle from a different dealership. They seem to not want to provide any help or service on any potential issues the vehicle may have. I traded in a PERFECTLY fine car to get something larger as I was pregnant and needing something larger. They were selling a Tahoe, fairly low miles for the year and the review was pretty good. When I purchased the vehicle, there was no detailing that was done (which trust me is the least of the problems). Vehicle was purchased as is which I understand the concept of whole heartedly however ETHICALLY, I don't think they should have sold me the vehicle. I have had nothing but mechanical problems since I purchased it and they don't want to help. After enough complaining because I was certain they sold me a Lemon, they did a "one time good will" fix on a particular part and since then that part messes up what use to be a few times a month has now become a few times in a few days. The problem that is having is a huge safety issue and power is reduced on the vehicle, stability turns off, traction turns off - the throttle body control and sensor. They claim they got the part from a GM parts place however they also say that because it was a "good will", they are not backing the part or the labor. No warranty on the part so no recourse if they put a defective part on - IF ONE AT ALL. I feel like they are just brushing me aside because this was not a Nissan vehicle I purchased. When I bought the truck, it was not detailed which to be honest I didn't really care about at first - until the vehicle kept having all the issues. They were "nice" and cleaned it up when I brought it in for the repair however my 8 year old could have done a better job. I guess I just really want to vent because we got screwed and are now 20 grand in the hole on a vehicle that is not safe to drive at all. They claim that they are all about their customers but I don't feel like we would only receive 5 star service if we bought a brand new Nissan. OH YA, as well, the truck broke down on the way to Nashville because apparently it had been leaking oil this whole time I was driving it. In one month, a vehicle SHOULD NOT go empty on oil especially if that is one of the services a vehicle gets before it leaves a lot. My husband looked under the truck only to find the filter wasn't even on properly. It had been place on there crooked so was leaking oil the whole time. Cant call Nissan to complain about that because they will just disregard it and state the vehicle was an AS IS VEHICLE. There is no possible way that with the frequency this truck is messing up and as quickly as it did after I purchased it, there is no possible way someone didn't know there was issues. I am sorry but I really find that hard to believe. They didn't even program the part they did put on. I had to pay a freaking GM dealer to do that for me and GM was nice enough to cut me some slack on the cost because of the crap service I received from Nissan. Nissan failed to mention to contact Honda for reimbursement of my GAP insurance I had so I lost out on several months of a refund that was legitimately due back to me. Maybe this is just a fluke but good lord! I work in a "customer service" type of industry and if it was me, I would take ownership and try to actually help the people that need help. We don't have tons of money so it was a huge leap to trade in the Honda for the SUV. I just feel like I was seen as an easy target and I guess I was. I hope there isn't others out there such as me. Snakey car lot dealers only trying to make a buck. More
