I just want to say that when I purchased my new Nissan Rogue from Nissan of Bowie, I worked with some of the most knowledgeable, and experienced people. Sales Manager, Richard Bledsoe and Salesperson, Re Rogue from Nissan of Bowie, I worked with some of the most knowledgeable, and experienced people. Sales Manager, Richard Bledsoe and Salesperson, Rene' Lewis, were outstanding!!! They worked really good as a team. They were friendly and they made me very comfortable in selecting my new vehicle. They walked me through the process step-by-step and they were very patient in my changes. I am so happy I chose Nissan of Bowie for my SUV. While looking for cars I applied for an auto loan online with my bank and was approved. While researching which dealerships where I could use the financing that I obtained I came across Nissan of Bowie. I with my bank and was approved. While researching which dealerships where I could use the financing that I obtained I came across Nissan of Bowie. I went to their website and saw a car which I thought would fit my needs. I emailed the car information to myself and within an hour I received a couple of follow-up emails from the internet sales manager as well as my sales rep, Maurice Williams. This was to be expected (as you know if you've ever emailed yourself a car listing from a dealer's website). I failed to go to Nissan of Bowie to test drive the car. About two days later I received a phone call from Maurice Williams stating that unfortunately the car in which I expressed interest had been sold (I'd NEVER had a car sales rep follow-up WITH ME and tell me that a car that I was interested in was sold WITHOUT me calling to check). He then asked me if he could email me pictures of more cars within the same price point with similar features. I thought that was considerate since I was just browsing and I had never actually been to Nissan of Bowie or met Maurice in person. The best part- I didn’t feel harassed! I did feel as though someone actually wanted to help me and actually cared about my situation!! To make a long story short, I set up an appointment to meet Maurice Williams in person (to which I was late AND showed up with my two children) and three hours later I left with my new 2013 Altima. Maurice is AWESOME! He is a helpful, friendly, knowledgeable salesman. He is respectful-a true gentleman! I had full confidence in him and was grateful for all of his suggestions. I am in the process of rebuilding my credit (I am mentioning this because some of you may be in this same position) however I was treated like a millionaire at Nissan of Bowie. I ended up getting financed by Nissan of Bowie (I got a better deal than the one that I had received prior to going to Nissan of Bowie). I was offered a great deal, got lots of rebates too!! I appreciate and am grateful for everything that the wonderful staff (especially Maurice Williams) at Nissan of Bowie has done and will continue to do for me. This has been the BEST and EASIEST car buying experience I have ever had. I am HAPPY and PROUD to be a part of the Nissan of Bowie family!!! More

When I visited the dealership, Mr. Williams approached me for assistance. I was a little skeptical because of his youth, however, after working with him it was a great experience and I got the vehicle I want for assistance. From start to finish he was very professional, pleasant and had a personal touch to his style of sales consultant. He listened to my "must haves" that I wanted in a vehicle and was successful in fulfilling them. He kept in contact with me to show his persistence but not in an overwhelming way. He wanted the deal and he sealed it. I promised him that I would do my best to send any referral his way and to the dealership in a whole. Overall I was very pleased with the whole experience and I am grateful for the service that I received. Great job Maurice Williams and Nissan of Bowie! More
Experience at Nissan of Bowie has been mixed. General service has been fairly good except for 30k, 60k and 90K mile service marks. The prices for those are a bit high. High enough that I can say my other vehicle (BMW) costs less to get maintenance preformed. It seems like every time I take my vehicle in they want me to flush my power steering fluid even if it had just been done less than 10K miles ago. Tell me the truth not that which will net the dealership the most profit. These are the reasons for mark down in price and customer service. Don't lie to the customer. Tip for Nissan Corporate use higher quality parts and fluid. Biggest complaint is trying to seek reimbursement for a part I had replace prior to a recall being issued. I notified the dealer of a recall on a part that I had already replaced on my own dime at the dealer and that Nissan consumer affairs stated that I needed to take my vehicle in to close out the recall on my VIN before they would reimburse me. Dealer was very accommodating at getting my vehicle in the shop ASAP. Then after sending in the invoice for the service I paid for and the new invoice of the recall to Nissan consumer affairs they continued to tell me that I needed to take my vehicle in to perform the recall. I thought I had already done this so I contacted the dealer again and they stated that paperwork was hung up and the person was not there to complete it. I waited and got a call from the dealer requesting the original invoice of the service which replace the bad part. I told them the invoice was at the dealership which they found and said that they would continue processing my paperwork. Wait. Wait. Wait. Nissan consumer affairs calls this time continuing to request the recall be performed on my vehicle. I then make another call to the dealership and am now told that I should have received a call to tell me that I need to start back over at step 1 again by setting up an appointment to perform the recall...... Frustration has now set in..... Now I am going to take my vehicle back to the dealer and hope they get it right this time. Granted they were very accommodating the first time but I don't want to sit around for 3 hours again and have them not get it right again. Waving a decent amount of money in front of someone, which they never should have paid in the first place, and hindering the process of them obtaining what is owed is very frustrating. Other than that everyone at the dealership is friendly and the quality of work has been pretty good. More
