Nissan of Bowie - Excellent Service Before coming to Nissan of Bowie, I went to two other dealerships - one which was Nissan in Waldorf. The sevice, in Waldorf, was extremely poor. Ne Before coming to Nissan of Bowie, I went to two other dealerships - one which was Nissan in Waldorf. The sevice, in Waldorf, was extremely poor. Needless to say, I was not expecting such good service from the sales team member, Jerry. Jerry made the entire sales process easy. It was quite arefreshing experience. Jerry's walkthrough, presentation and the introduction of the finance department and its mechanical department was enlightening. I cannnot remember their names but, the staff there were very friendly. I am truly grateful and I am looking forward to visiting this dealership, for the mechanical services, etc. for years to come. Warrenty Repair Work Done Since purchasing my car from.this dealership in 2012, I have noted a decline in the level of customer service, with some exceptions. I had been havin Since purchasing my car from.this dealership in 2012, I have noted a decline in the level of customer service, with some exceptions. I had been having issues with driver door power features for several months. When I first asked the service dept about the work and whether they could check whether I had an extended warranty/service plan, I was told to check my sales paperwork-- no one there could check. When. I returned (after getting the Nissan 800 from the finance Dept) and told them that I did have such, they amazingly were able to see it on my account. Regarding the work, I was slightly annoyed when I had to leave the dealership with a taped up window because a part needed to be ordered and they did not properly realign the window glass (something I had repeatedly done myself several times). There was no discussion of what my options were regarding a loaner vehicle if I wanted to leave my car there-- luckily my schedule did not require me to drive my car for the next several days. When the part did arrive, I received an email and phone call from Eric Scott, who was the service rep assigned to me. Eric was very thorough in explaining the warranty repair process, checked on me several times while I was waiting and gave me updates, walked me through additional issues found with my vehicle, and overall, was very thorough and pleasant to work with. His service was the best part of this experience. More
