I wanted to buy my wife a certified pre-owned Rogue and I talked to Dexter multiple times over the phone about it. When I came to look at the car it wasn't what I expected, the interior and exterior were dirty and the car really wasn't what we had in mind. Dexter then tried to pull some con-game on me once I told him I was leaving, it saw through his crap and left. Nice job Nissan of Athens, thanks for wasting me and my wife's time. Also thank you so much for your extraordinary customer service. I'm sure everyone is raving about your guys. Ha, these people are a joke. Management really needs to take a look at this Dexter guy, he is a really slimy character. More

After corresponding with a salesperson and confirming a time to look at vehicle my family and I drove for an hour and a half to the dealership. Upon arrival of the dealership we were informed that the vehicle had been sold that morning. The disturbing thing is we were assured the vehicle was still for sale at 3 pm. They then had the nerve to inform me I should have come earlier More

My elderly family member asked me to overlook the purchase she wanted to make. She expressed to the salesman that she was not willing to buy a vehicle without allowing me to review the sales contract purchase she wanted to make. She expressed to the salesman that she was not willing to buy a vehicle without allowing me to review the sales contract. We were able to come up with a deal that we all agreed on. I asked her to leave the dealership and think about the purchase overnight and she and I would both return the next day to sign the papers. She agreed. She then asked for the papers she submitted for financing and after a lengthy period of time the salesman showed up with a different vehicle and was able talk her into buying it. THE PROBLEM IS... this vehicles MSRP was $900 less than the other, the payment is $50 a month higher, they added 12 payments and the interest rate is slightly higher. This added almost $8000 over original deal. Be very careful dealing with this dealership. More
The whole business is conducted like a scam: giving one price as a bait first, but offering a completely different one later. He talked about $22,000 first and demanded almost $30,000 when it came to closi price as a bait first, but offering a completely different one later. He talked about $22,000 first and demanded almost $30,000 when it came to closing the deal. Worst dealership experience ever! More
I went there with the intent on purchasing a Nissan Sentra for 9,995.00 I told the salesperson I wanted to stay within that budget. However, I was told that the car had been sold, even though I had bee Sentra for 9,995.00 I told the salesperson I wanted to stay within that budget. However, I was told that the car had been sold, even though I had been told by someone else two hours earlier that the car was still there. However, the salesperson brought out a car of his choice, even though it was a nice car It wasn't what I was really looking for, but he claimed there was no other cars avaible within the price range I was looking for, so I settled for that one. He told me the car was a little higher than the Nissan Sentra, and that it was 13,000. We agreed to go with that one thinking it was that price of 13,000. I was also told that I would be the buyer, and my brother would be the co-signer. However, after waiting about 2 hrs on the final steps to finalize the loans, I found out the paperwork was changed to my brother being the buyer without notifying us first, along with the fact that the price had went up to 14,995.00 I did argue back and forth with the finance manager, but he used high pressure to convince me that it didn't matter who was the purchaser, both our credit would be improved and reluctantly I agreed to, which I should never have. And since it was so late the finance person asked if we could just sign all the papers to get out of there, the APR or none of that was discussed. And since I was told by Nissan of Athens that my brother had Good credit, I assumed that he as getting a good APR, so we didn't bother to look it over. Unbeknownst to my brother and I, he was given a very bad APR. The APR he was give is normally what is usually seen at Buy Here Pay Here lots. A 22% with 72 months and a down payment of 2000.00 dollars which I paid. We ended up being charged two times what the car is worth. How does some one with Good credit get such a high APR. Then the next day I ran across an ad where Nissan of Athens was selling the car for 12,995. But, sold it to me for 14,995. So they jacked the price up on the car and sneakily gave us a bad APR, to try and nickel and dime us for everything they could get out of us. We was lied to all around, And before we left the car lot one of the salesperson told us to lie to the Bank that was financing the car if the Bank called us. Telling us what to tell the Bank so the loan won't fall through. My husband have always purchased from Nissan but NEVER, have we experienced this before. I don't plan on ever going back to Nissan Of Athens, and their Corporate office will be called to in form them of their unethical practices just to get a sale. Just because a person has credit issues it gives no dealership the right to take advantage of them. I will never give in to the pressure to buy a car again, and I'm truly disappointed with Nissan Of Athens! More
I live in Evans, GA (Augusta) and found a vehicle I liked at Athens Nissan so I drove up to Athens (Bogart) to see the car. The car had some problems so David Newton told me about some deals they had on yea at Athens Nissan so I drove up to Athens (Bogart) to see the car. The car had some problems so David Newton told me about some deals they had on year end clearance. He got me top dollar for my trade, a beautiful brand new Nissan with most of the equipment I wanted at the lowest possible price, plus an excellent interest rate with Nissan Finance. David made the whole car buying experience the best I've had in more than 50 years of buying cars. I told him my bottom line and he made it work. It was a win win for both of us. When I am ready for another new Nissan I look forward to working with David again. More

I had the best experience ever purchasing my new car. I asked for and received quotes via email. When I arrived at Nissan of Athens, everything (pricing) was just as Dana stated it would be. No hidden fe asked for and received quotes via email. When I arrived at Nissan of Athens, everything (pricing) was just as Dana stated it would be. No hidden fees like at other dealerships I had inquired at in Gwinnett. The car was pulled upto the front door and ready for me to drive home. I wouldn't shop anywhere else. Dana and Richard made this car purchase about as hassle free as possible. It is nice to do business with people who are honest and have integrity. More
