I recently had a cvt replacement. This was a recall item that only went up to 85,000 so I had to pay for part of my replacement. My vehicle totally died at exactly 100,000 not a mile over. Just quit and I was stranded for over 3 hrs waiting for a tow in over 100-degree temperature. I have never had any vehicle die at exactly 100,000 miles. all my vehicles have gone over 200,000 miles with no problem and no transmission or engine problems., Obviously the 2015 and other years have a bad transmission because so many have been recalled and replaced. Transmission was done and the car still had problems. It stopped again three times. Once the service dept said they didnt program the vehicle after the transmission was done. Then it died again I got home. The last time it died I had just gotten back from Riverside and it died in San Bernardino on my way home in Highland. A vehicle almost hit me because when it dies it just stops. the man behind me honked and flipped me off. Now they say I need to exchange the transmission they had just installed. So, i need to go to Arizona next week will a new transmission die in the middle of the desert? If I get in an accident or stuck in the middle of the desert due to the negligence of the Nissan service, I get they will be a lawsuit. So does this explain the extreme danger this vehicle is and how the recall should have covered more vehicles.
