Fool me twice, shame on me On one service visit, the tech neglected to put the brake fluid reservoir cap back on after changing the fluid. The ride home was fun as brake fluid On one service visit, the tech neglected to put the brake fluid reservoir cap back on after changing the fluid. The ride home was fun as brake fluid splashed all over the hot engine bay, causing a very strong burning smell. Fortunately I recognized the problem and was able to take care of it without having to go back to the dealership. I spoke with a service advisor, who was very apologetic and offered me two free oil changes to help make up for the mishap. I decided to give them another shot and went in for an oil change and tire rotation, which appeared to be fine when I left the dealership. Unfortunately, last week I found out the hard way that the tech had over torqued the lug nuts so much that I stripped two of them and broke the adapter for my breaker bar trying to get them off. Needless to say, I will be taking my car elsewhere for service next time. More
I have had it with this dealership! I bought a Nissan, Altima 2015, in February 2016. This car is 4 years old. I had a breakdown with the car less than a year ago and transmission broke down. Both the dealership and corporate office gave me a difficult time and stress regarding this matter. Until they finally agreed to pay a portion as “due deligence”. A few months ago I brought my car back into the dealership and was presented with the fact that the car had a computer issue and needed a new system, which cost some money to replace. Just now recently, the car gets brought back in to the dealership and they diagnose it with a transmission problem (less than a year later). The dealership reports for me to call and file a claim with corporate and so I did. The car was left at the dealership for about a week, with no offer of a rental. Playing phone tag with the corporate manager to give me a call back was about six days. I finally spoke to the corporate manager today, who reports that due to the last transmission courtesy they are not willing to pay for the transmission due to the fact that it’s been 12 months and out of warranty. It has not been 12 months, and I don’t care if it’s out of warranty! So who oversees the parts that the dealership puts in?! Your telling me that a car that just had a new transmission put in less than a year ago, needs a new transmission? That is absolutely ridiculous. I asked to speak to the corporate manger’s supervisor and he apparently is the top person to speak to. His direction was that unfortunately he doesn’t specialize in the labor of the job. But that they rely on the dealership to do the job correctly. What if the dealership didn’t do the job correctly? “Unfortunately due to out of warranty nothing they can do, and that I should contact the dealership”. Terrible, terrible dealership and customer service!!!! I’ve had a recall on this xxxxty car since the week I bought it 2016. Since the corporate and dealership have failed me for the third time, I will make my voice heard. More
I am a repeat customer at Nissan 24 with my most recent experience being this past weekend when my husband and I bought our 4’th car! Maurice was wonderful to work with! Loyal, helpful, and knowledgeable I own three Nissan vehicles which I purchased at Nissan 24 in 2015, 2017, and 2018 from my go to sales person Ed McCarthy, he knows I am very particul I own three Nissan vehicles which I purchased at Nissan 24 in 2015, 2017, and 2018 from my go to sales person Ed McCarthy, he knows I am very particular and do not like to waste time. When it comes time for me to purchase a new car I find what I want online, call Ed, we work the numbers, and I come into the dealership to sign the paperwork. Ed not only supports me when it comes to sales he helps me with service. Just recently my niece's 2014 Nissan Versa lost its transmission, I reached out to Ed because we had to bring the car to a dealership for a diagnosis and I wanted to bring it to a place I knew would do their due diligence to make sure the car was checked out from soup to nuts. Ed set me up with Manny who has made the experience easy and stress free. He explained the process and has kept me up to date with any information he has received, from when the mechanic diagnosed the car to when the Nissan case manager looked at the diagnosis. My family is VERY important to me and knowing they are getting the best service is priceless to me. Manny has also been my service agent the last few times I have brought my vehicles in for service, he has made sure I am in and out of there quickly.
