VERY FRUSTRATED I brought my 2010 Nissan Murano to this service department on 8/22/19. I explained that my 18-year daughter had been having intermittent acceleration I brought my 2010 Nissan Murano to this service department on 8/22/19. I explained that my 18-year daughter had been having intermittent acceleration issues with the car for several months. I had the car looked at by my regular mechanic who could not determine what the problem was so I brought it back to Nissan 112, where I bought the car. I advised them that I recently had a friend of the family, a master mechanic with 11 years experience at Toyota, take a look at the car. After several hours of looking at and test driving the car, he determined that the problem was related to the CVT, a known problem with the transmission for that year Murano (covered under Nissan Service Bulletin NTB11-002c). I advised them of such when I dropped it off. Each day I would call and check in with them and they would tell they could not find a problem. On 8/29, the master mechanic who had assessed the problem went to Nissan 112 and recreated the problem in the presence of the service consultant. He then agreed that this problem was related to the CVT and would be covered under extended warranty per the service bulletin. The next morning I called and spoke to the service consultant and he confirmed that the problem was related to the CVT and the car would get a new transmission. Less than 2 hours later, he called me back to tell me that it was an air dam problem that I would be charged to have replaced. I again consulted with the master mechanic who assessed the car who immediately told me that if it was just the air dam the problem would be persistently present and not just intermittent when the car has been driven for some time. I went in and spoke to the service manager who also insisted it was the air dam. I asked why this had not been determined over the several days (8/22-8/29/19) they had the car. His response was that the head tech has just looked at the car that day (8/29). I now have to wait and worry that again my daughter will lose acceleration in a dangerous situation and perhaps be injured or worse. More

Can I give 0 stars My car went back in for service this week for the same 2 problems that they claimed to have fixed already! My brother called today to get an update and the service manager moe decides he wanted to try and put the front end camera error on me, he proceeded to call my brother a liar when we insisted the vehicle WAS NOT in a car accident. Apparently the bracket the front end camera goes in was bent, well since they were the ones who replaced it the last time, I wonder who bent it. This car has been nothing but problems! They also fixed the fuel line in the vehicle but drained the gas tank and didn’t put gas back in. Nissan motor Corp and Nissan 112 don’t seem to care of my son and I are involved in a collision in this unsafe vehicle. The “only thing they can do” is roll my payments into another lease. I will not be leasing with them again. More

This is the second time I have bought/leased a car from Nissan 112 and both times I was delighted that there was no catch. No bait and switch, no high pressure sales, no unexpected last minute fees. Ask for Chris Kunzler. He is up front and honest and will try to find you a good deal. He knows about the LEAF and it’s special deals which a lot of dealers do not. More
