I could not be more satisfied. They went to great length to get me the exact truck I wanted, from a distant dealer. And at an extremely fair price. The salesman was thorough and was able to set us up with the vehicle we wanted. All the features were reviewed before we departed the dealership. After visiting Smithtown Nissan last week, I was informed by them about their low inventory due to COVID 19 and some other Nissan issues, they were very honest and upfront with me and told me there are other by them about their low inventory due to COVID 19 and some other Nissan issues, they were very honest and upfront with me and told me there are other local dealers that might have the vehicles we were looking for... a few days later I stopped at Nissan 112 because it was the next closest dealership. I recognized a salesman that looked familiar from Smithtown Nissan. His name was Matthew Brown, he then approached me I told him my wants and needs. He then started to take down my information but seemed more interested in walking around the show room and going up and talking to every other person walking into the dealership, rather than being interested and trying to sell me a new car. He kept pulling down his mask and spitting while he spoke to us it was absolutely horrendous.. after about 25 minutes of not paying attention to me I had enough and walked out... Especially being a female in todays world he made me feel so uncomfortable that I was compelled to write this. BUYERS BEWARE!!! More
Their prices are not real. Neither are their promises. Here's my sad story about Nissan 112. Saturday morning, I confirm by phone that a car in their ad on CarsDirect.com is still there. It is. I drive Here's my sad story about Nissan 112. Saturday morning, I confirm by phone that a car in their ad on CarsDirect.com is still there. It is. I drive out 90 miles to see the car. I test drive the car, I love the car. With the dealer's permission, I pay a nearby mechanic to check the car. It just needed brakes, no big deal. Returning to the lot to begin negotiations, John Corpac, my salesperson, quickly agrees to fix the brakes. Great. We begin to talk pricing. That's when the problems begin. John asks me if I'd visited their web site and read the small print. Um, no, I say, and repeat that I am there because of their ad on CarsDirect.com. I show him the ad. He skims it, doesn't find what he's looking for. John shows me that on their dealer web site, if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the car listings, it says that the prices advertised are AFTER a $1,995 down payment. What? Okay, 1) that's shady, and 2) their ad on CarsDirect doesn't say this. I submit my offer of a little less than what is advertised. John gets his "boss". We get nowhere until I use the term "false advertising". Then, the boss asks me if I'll buy the car for the full price advertised on CarsDirect. Paying full advertised price is more than I expected, but I love the car, so I agree. After I sign the purchase agreement, and make a $3,000 down payment to secure the car, John Corpac tells me he will call Monday with how prep is going. John doesn't call Monday. I call him Monday afternoon, but he doesn't pick up his line, then he's gone. I call him again on Tuesday, and Wednesday, leaving messages each time with his voice mail and with others. I text him. John doesn't call or text back. On Thursday, "Scotty" from their office calls me, says he's the manager and that he's very sorry but they can't go through with the sale, as their paperwork for the car is not in order. What? Of course, I am gravely disappointed. I ask what can be done. Scotty says he can find me another car and give me a really good deal. I consider this for a day, and then ask for a refund of my deposit on the car I bought. Scotty says he'll refund my money that Friday and send me the receipt. No refund Friday; I contact Scotty who apologizes, says he was really busy, but he'll refund my money first thing Saturday. No refund Saturday; Scotty says the credit card machine is down. Meanwhile, John Corpac who sold me the car, is still of no help; he still will not return my calls or texts. Monday, I file a complaint with Nissan corporate. I get my refund 4 hours later. After having driven a total of 180 miles there and back, agreeing upon a price, spending my Saturday acquiring the car, telling my family we got the car, we don't have the car, and my old car has more miles. And I'm out the mechanic fee. Don't believe what these guys tell you. Don't waste your time letting them tell you anything. Go somewhere else. More
They are quick and easy to deal with. When you need something done they don’t try to sell you something else. Great dealership and will definitely get my next car from them. something done they don’t try to sell you something else. Great dealership and will definitely get my next car from them. More
