In 2019, I purchased a truck from Beyer Ford with a Platinum extended service warranty [As I cannot be without a business vehicle]. I now live in Eastern Long Island. When a major component started having intermittent problems – I brought the vehicle into two Ford dealerships on Long Island For service- one would not take the vehicle in providing a multitude of reasons – the other diagnosed the problem but told me they would not be able to work on my vehicle for a month or two because of the complexity. [Both dealerships told me they could not provide a loaner for a variety of reasons, including Covid, microchip shortages, etc. When I contacted Craig Tish at Beyer Ford, his immediate response was, "What did they tell you??!! that's total nonsense… Bring the car to us, and we will get it sorted out!" I was then contacted by Lydia and Zach in the customer service department… I brought the car in and left with a great loaner vehicle. It did take a few weeks to repair the vehicle because of the delay in receiving parts… But Zach & Lydia kept me in the loop the entire time, and I had a great loaner to utilize for business in the interim. At the time of pick up, everything was perfect, and the car was like new. Next time I need to buy a Business vehicle – I'll be traveling to New Jersey and to the team at Beyer Ford. More
I honestly don’t do this, but this time I had no other choice but to leave a bad review. I really wished that google would have the option of minus stars. Here’s my experience: So I did an appointment 2 weeks ago, for today @ 7:30AM; the truck needed oil and filter service, two recall concerns and a miss shifting problem on the transmission. So I dropped off the truck @ 7:30AM and the check-in process, lasted about 10 minutes. I called my service advisor Zachary Tyler @ 11:30am, and he left me on hold for 10 minutes. When he came back on the line, he stated to me, that “they” were working on my truck recalls. Here’s the kicker… I have a live GPS on my truck that detects when the truck gets started, and when its in motion. The key factor of this review is, that nobody bothered to service my vehicle since I dropped it off, and was parked @ 7:44am. See below the evidence of my statement. Sent detailed Pictures of my trade in and sent my vin number also to get an idea of a trade in value since we live far from dealer. They clearly showed the interior and exterior of my vehicle. When my wife drove an hour and spent an hour plus there the trade offer decreased 5000 dollars due to a manager stating that I said vehicle had leather. Pictures clearly demonstrated that it did not. Very disappointed in the whole process. More
